I am doing some research in Cardiff University about the anti-war protests. On the marches, and in the media, what I noticed as particularly outstanding was the high level of commitment and involvement of students and school kids. I wonder does this mark the politicisation of a generation who is tired of the constant lies and lack of action by governments and ngo's alike, and this is what this research is hoping to discover.

As part of this, I am hoping to conduct some focus groups, with both anti-war protesters and those who did not, who are between the ages of 13 and 19. I also want to try and do some interviews with activists.

This research aims to draw attention back to the scale of the protests and the brilliant part people this age had to do with this. It is also interested in highlighting the shift that I feel has occurred, which is demonstrating that people are no longer satisfied with the status quo.

Please email me if you, or anyone you know, would be interested in taking part in this research.

I look forward to hearing from you,

Kate
