That is a matter of opinion...

Mr. Beckjord

In your opinion I am not good. But, in the past 3 decades and my beginnings in this realm, the reviews and comments I have received have been overwhelmingly in my favor. In most things, experience is a great teacher. I am well educated but chose not to use it to make a living. In the mid 1970s there was no money in my field for a young family to grow on. So I chose another path.

Even those with a high amount of education and "official" training and sanction aren't necessarily the ones who have the expertise. I have several PhDs in my family. And, although family is important, I don't believe that any of them could find their way out of an unlocked barn with detailed instructions. They are so focused on minutia that the big picture escapes them.

It is true that anyone can declare themselves a freelance something in any field. It is the fruits of their labor that tells the story. The fruits of my career have been personally and financially rewarding.

Have yours?

John Johnsen

P.S.

I have been considering doing freelance brain surgery on weekends. Is there a market?
