they ran around $120-140 but that was a couple years ago. I paid ~$100 for mine used. Stainless, Composite, tubefed. (model 60SS).
Hell if you could find a used one they are pretty robust. In fact, it's probably better if you can find an older model... or do you have the option of buying it somewhere other than Kmart (...and Walmart). They get the D-grade guns. I have talked to several Remington reps over the years and have been told to never buy a gun from those 2. I know the 60 is Marlin... but i imagine that is how they deal with all the dealers. I'm a firm believer in "You get what you pay for"
Also .. I have seen 60's jam fairly frequently when they start getting dirty. Which happens more with some of the cheaper ammo.
