of course the 10-22 for auto, but the old galery pump guns are great to plink with. I have a remmington 572 Fieldmaster with a big scope. I can use the low velosity 22 rds for indoor shooting as well as the 22shorts. I have used an old door for a backstop with no complete penitration. Its a skinned door to boot and the lead penitrates the outer skin and bounces off the inner, down inside the door and acts as a lead trap. Man! am I eco minded or what? I recycle the lead into fish weights and save the brass to melt down. Those LV rounds dont work in autos because of not enuff blowback.
