Prologue:
Sarah had just stepped out of The Salem Bus Station, she was was their to see her best friend Shawn. They had met a little over three years ago, and became fast friends, in fact they were best friends.
She had strong feelings for Shawn, what girl wouldn't. He had chocolate brown eyes, brown hair, he was like David Borenaz, but much younger... he was every girls dream. Its been a long time since I had seen Shawn, sure I got pictures, and phone calls, along with email, but I had never had visited him, and the same was with him. I bet he has a girlfriend.. ah well I'm not looking for a relationship, I don't want to lose my freedom.
*Little did she know, Shawn's girlfriend just broke up* with him
Ch.1:
Shawn couldn't believe how is life could fall apart in 24 hours. Him and his girlfriend shared a brother, and Belle couldn't and wouldn't want a relationship with him now, so she broke up with him. She said that they would always be friends, *friends*, how I hate that word now. *Friends*, aren't in love with their friends. He wished he would have told her that before tonight, but he was afraid as usual to admit his feelings, the only thing good about this weekend was that his best friend from school was coming for a visit, he couldn't wait to see Sarah. He missed their close relationship, and their talks as well. She may have been tough on the outside, but she was sweet like he was... He still remembered when he was a rebel, but Belle had changed him, but he couldn't think of her like that again, they were just friends. He needed someone to talk to, but Sarah wasn't there yet, so he went to one of his best friends Janice Spears...
Jan had changed so much over the summer, she was actually a nice and caring person, once you got to know her... she told Chloe and Mimi she was sorry for the whole OperaGirl.net thing... to everyone surprise the three of them and Belle grew closer. Chloe picked Philip, she realised that she was in love with him, and only him, and now their back together, and stronger than ever. Mimi had a sour break up with Kevin, he chose Susan over her, and she turned to Brady, who had just lost Chloe to Philip for comfort... They are now in love with each other, but they won't admit it. Jan told everyone about the rape, and Jason finally stood by her, and helped her through it, he was actually a nice guy... I just hope I get some advise about my love life, instead of giving it out...
Ch.2
Belle felt very upset...she didn't know how she got through breaking up with Shawn... but she did, and she felt terrible. The only reason they broke up was because they shared a brother, and she thought he didn't want to be with her then, so she took the easy way out of their relationship. They swore they would still be friends, but was friends all she could handle. The thought of his arms around another girl, holding her the way he did her, she couldn't stand to even think about it. She needed to talk to someone. She couldn't talk to Chole, cause she was on a date with Philip, she couldn't talk to Mimi, cause she didn't want to get Brady involved, what is up with those two lately, oh well... she knew she couldn't call Jan cause she was probally somewhere with Jason... all her friends had someone, she did have someone until early today... I guess I'll just have to talk to mom..
My poor baby girl came to me, saying she needed advise. She then told me that she broke up with Shawn. I tried to tell her, that she should have just stuck it out, it would get better with time, but she was stubborn, she must get that from John. She really does love Shawn, even though she won't admit it to anyone yet, but we all have eyes. We knew they would always be together, that all couples have to break up sometime. I tried telling her all this, but she wouldn't listen to me, I'm just her mother what do I know. She's now upstairs eating cookie dough ice cream and watching chick flicks, I told her all she needed was a good cry, I'm glad she took my advise... If only she hadn't broke up with him, I know Shawn almost as I know Belle, he wouldn't break up with her, their relationship would be tough for awhile, but they would be alright. Kids today are so dense.
Jan Spears just got back from her date with Jason, she was so glad that he wasn't pushing her around anymore and that he was sweet with her now. Its all because of Shawn, he helped her through her ordeal, and helped restore her friendship with Mimi, and Chloe. Her and Belle were still friends, but Belle didn't trust her all that much. I admit I was clingy to Shawn, but at the time He was my only friend, now I have friends who really and truly care about me, I've never been happier. My mom she has been better towards me since she found out about the rape. Just as I was about to turn on the t.v. Shawn calls me. He says he needs someone to talk to, and that Belle broke up with him. I told him, that he needed to go rent 10 things I hate about you, and I would be right over. 10 things helped me over my many break ups with Jason.. I don't blame Belle or Shawn for their break up, If Jason and I shared a brother, I would break up with him too. Oh well I better get off to Shawn's.
Shawn just hanged up the phone when Hope came in. She asked how he was doing. He hated lying to his mother but he had to. He told her he was fine, and that Jan was coming over. He knew what his mom was thinking, but he wasn't going to use Jan has a rebound. she had been through to much, he wouldn't do that to her. She took the hint and left, right then Jan knocked on the door. We sat down and watched the movie, ate tons of junk food. After two in a half hours, it was time for Jan to go home, I offered to walk her, but she said she was fine. So I let her go as I got ready for bed. Tomorrow was a big day, he would come face to face with Sarah in over two years.
