I have decided to part with my 66 2 door/no post fairlane. It is very close to being finished. I just can't afford two cars at this point any more. It has a strong running 289 with a recently rebuilt transmission (blue plate racing clutches/ A-servo, Kevlar band, Hurst Shifter) the brakes have been rebuilt all the way around (still all drum) including drums, shoes, hoses, hard lines, master cylinder, slave cylinders, springs. The front end has been recently rebuilt, all PST poly-graphite bushings, complete. The only thing not replaced was the springs which are in good shape. It has headers (don't know what kind), dual exhaust, sounds good. The bushings on the leaf springs have been very recently (last 4 months) replaced. There are good air shocks in the back as well. The bumpers have been re-chromed and the body has been taken down to bare metal and re-painted by someone who knew very well what they were doing. Unfortunately, it was vandalized and there is a scratch down the side of the car so the paint would have to be re-done, but it should'nt be very difficult to fix, also the driver's door skin has been replaced and is in primer. The radiator is new, the gas tank is new, the floor has been scraped, primered and undercoated all the way from the front to the back. I put in the rubberized flooring and the floor mats are also the 'fairlane' black w/ red logo in good shape. The harmonic balancer was just replaced. The fuel pump has just been replaced. the carbuerator was very recently re-built. The U-joints have been very recently replaced. The Alternator/voltage regulator has been very recently replaced. The trunk has a repro-original style liner just recently put in. The Battery is still very new. There are traction bars on the back in very nice shape. The interior is pretty bare, but there is remnants of a dashboard enough to do until it can be replaced. The seats are there and the vinyl is in rough shape, but they are structurally sound and can be re-upholstered. This car could be a show winner or an awesome pristine cruiser for anyone willing to put a little more into it. The price is also negotiable, but there has been alot done to this car to bring it to this point and the price marked is only about half of what's been put into it.
