Hey, good Inmates. I just finished a rather major update and facelift to the site. I think it looks a lot better now.
Just yesterday/two-days-ago, I employed a similar facelift to the Society of Carpet Bombers site, though that change was definitely more drastic. As for IøtA, unlike the SCB, I kept the topframe (though it's barely noticeable now). This is because I wanted the lovely Mozart midi to keep playing in the background throughout one's visit of the site, and the links afterward.
The most obvious redesign is the use of a hyperlink pad at the top of the site which remains their throughout. Click on the Seal of the Asylum to get back to the main page. Granted, it somewhat resembles myth.bungie.org, but sorry, Forrest, you weren't my inspiration . I think the coolest part of the site though is clicking on "Asylum Nite" and seeing all of the colors invert and the whole page become a negative of its former self…sorta . It's like going from the lightness of the padded rooms to the darkness of our demented minds…muahaha.
