Unfortunately my 1936 500cc Empire Star has to be sold. The machine is 90% restored and has been the subject of much expenditure but with an impending house move (it's third since resoration started) and no progress in the last three years I must let someone else finish the job. The hard work is all done and major costs dealt with, only a few minor parts are needed now and all of them are available . If you want a Q8 but don't want to pay the £3000 + (CMC Oct 03) that some people are asking for a barn stored project or upto £4000 for a restored example then this may be the bike for you. Full details of what has been done and what still needs doing are available via email. A rare model with original registration and brown log book looking for a new home. I would like to discuss sensible offers or exchange/part exchange for a roadworthy 1930's O.H.V machine over 350cc preferably in 'original' or 'oily-rag' condition.
