Response to 1929 S29 Combination / H29

Dear jari and other sidecar fans,

The S29 had nickel plating as chrome plating was introduced by BSA in 1930 but only for specific models. If you read the part book correctly you will notice a slash behind some part numbers with another digit. This is the finish code. Standard finish for nuts and bolts was blackening. Some were cadmium plated ans ome were either nickel or chrome plated.

I would like to receive a picture of your sidecar because I bought an S30-18 combination. The sidecar body is almost gone but I would like to determine the model by comparing it to others.

Regards,
Leon
