hi, i have a 1996 xv535 and i love the bike, however i`ve not ridden it much. every month or so i charge the battery. the first battery would charge but when i stopped after a ride i could not start bike again
so i thought maybe battery is dying... i bought a new battery and sure enough after charging overnight, the bike roars into life. now 3 months later the battery seems fully charged (left off the bike for a week) but when i try to start it all i can hear is tick tick tick etc. i have seen some comments about the worst ever starter motor in the world ever for viragos i`m just wondering if mine is suspect?
i apologise for being naive but as i say i haven`t used it much but i intend to now with some nice jardine pipes on it
