How do I put a question on the website ?
I have a 1992 "J" reg 535 - made a stupid mistake and left on the ignition.
Three days later and after realising the mistake I put the battery on charge - one of the charger clips slipped down and touched the frame.
Sparks went across the battery. - I have tried to charge the battery, but with no joy.
So bought a new battery, connected it up................and nothing - its just clicking like it has a flat battery.
I have double checked the charge in the new cell and its fine - the bike also bump starts OK.
Could I have damaged the coil ? or burnt out the starter ?
