I have checked the park.
It looks like the city got most of the paint off the memorial itself. Unfortunately, it has left some nasty stains.
There are still a number of hits all around the park itself. There are mostly what appear to be normal hits with a neon green fill. However, there are also some orange hits that seem much tackier.
Mr. Komenda left me a very nice message that he appreciates the fact that we care and that he certainly does not hold people like us responsible. I'm still trying to get hold of him in person to discuss a few issues.
Regardless, there is still some damage to the park caused by someone misusing a paintball marker.
I'm heading out to the park at 7pm tonight to clean what I can. I would really appreciate whatever help I can get. The park is located at Varsity View Community Club in Charleswood, just off of Wilkes. Please pass this around.
