To add to the "About Friggin' Time" files, I'd like to state publicly that after much dallying with muddy glasses and a couple of false finishes, I have finally typed the two most magical words in the literary kingdom: The End.
(or the ebd as Deb says)
SO my mermaid story is complete and I couldn't be more relieved, happy, excited, sad to let it go, enthusiastic about editing, or generally hyped up than I am right now.
If there's any satisfaction to be had out of writing at all, it's in this moment, when the story you've been dreaming about, visualising constantly and stressing over daily, wraps itself up beautifully and lands at The End.
Bliss really.
And if there was any way to design drugs, I'd want one that makes me feel just like this twenty-four hours a day  (although then I'd probably be smiling so much I'd never get anything done!) |
