I also went to the Brisbane Writers Festival on the weekend. I even attended some of the same lectures you did Louise! I spent half of the time whispering to my sister, "do yo think that's the writer Louise Cusack
sitting over there?" I wasn't sure if it was you or not, so I didn't want to make a fool of myself strolling on over and saying hi. It was quite a good
festival wasn't it? I expect to see you up on stage talking next year, and I WILL say hello instead of dithering around wondering if it is you. Take care, Debbie.

Deb, I'm so sorry I didn't get the opportunity to meet you at the Bris Writing Festival. I would have loved to. were quite a few Bris authors left out this year, so I didn't feel so bad about being overlooked (it is my first book after all).
