Is it just me or is the 'board a bit lonely without Deb and Helen? We'll have to do without Helen (and her cream pies) for a while longer, but I think Deb comes back tomorrow.

I'm not as good at setting up a 'welcome back' party as you guys were, but when you get here Deb, here's a big

WELCOME BACK

from me

Well I got back from our little holiday at the beach on Thursday afternoon. We had fun except for three of the kids getting gastro while we were in the motel!

I thought I had managed to avoid it but NO, I was in bed all day yesterday with it. Blech!

Needless to say it did put a damper on our trip...nothing worse than gastro when you are not in your own home. But still the sea was wonderful and I looked for shells and played in the waves with the kids.

Deb, that's such a nuisance. I remember it distinctly when I was little, we used to go camping all the time (which is probably why I'm a Motel girl now) and everywhere we went I got sick from the water. Even now when I'm travelling, the first thing I do after I book in is trot off to a shop and buy some bottled water.

Sounds like you found some time to relax, though, so that's good. Shell-hunting is one of my favourite things too.
