I have two here on six weeks holidays as well and they're just as excited as you are Jamie. I remember the feeling distinctly, even though it was quite a while ago for me! Enjoy (but remember to write too)

Loooove holidays!!

December 18 2001, 9:52 AM

I've only had about a week and a half off this year, so I'm really looking forward to having holidays in January! Some fun and sun and relaxing! Might catch up on a few books I've been wanting to read as well! Maybe try surfing, and definitely hit the go-karting scene as I've heard there's a great track up there.

Also can't wait for Christmas!!! There's already lots of pressies already under the tree, and I got my shopping done last Friday (phew!). We're having lunch with Craig's family, and going to my parents' place in the afternoon - should be great! What's everyone else doing on the big day?? Fi

My guess is that I'll be up at 4am working on book two until the short people wake up, at which time I'll stop and watch them unwrap their presents (always SO much fun) then we lounge around for a while before going to my mum's for lunch and the outlaws place for dinner. By then I'm so full I don't usually eat for a week.

Ho Ho Ho

My guess is I will also be up at the crack of dawn...and not to do any writing either!!! The "short people" will be hassling me to get up and start with the great unwrapping ceremony - you know - dive in and start tearing at the paper and ribbons to get at what lies benieth.
Then I get the Christmas dinner under way and then we eat until we almost burst.
There will be no visiting rellies as most are just too far away. But that is ok.
