strange stuff that has nothing to do with this BB

I was just looking at the website listed in the back of Patricia Cornwell's newest novel and there was nothing there! There are two pages you can go to
www.patricia-cornwell.com or www.patriciacornwell.com
One is all grey and has a box for entering a password.
The other just has a painting of patricia cornwell but no links to anything. BTW if anyone figures out the password or what the deal is with these web sites please tell me.
It just blows my mind. Maybe its a marketing ploy, maybe not but it is REALLY bizarre

I can't past the password either, and the other page says "under construction". Weird. Hope you work it out!! Maybe if my curiousity gets the better of me I'll search for details. If not, let me know if you get in!

That is really weird. You've got to wonder about this stuff - whether it's a deliberate ploy to intrigue her readers (or irritate the hell out of them) or simply a snaffu that no one has bothered to correct. Perhaps the publishers put the wrong web-page address in the novel, or the forwarding for those URL addresses (which would take you to her 'real' webpage) isn't working.

Simplicity can sometimes be the best policy.

Thanks Craig, you're a legend. I'll be in there snooping around as soon as I've had about 20 hours sleep!

baby bed time

It was a late night! I started at 4am that morning and worked straight through until ten p.m., then by the time I'd done my banked up emails it was midnight. However, I got the manuscript away and met my deadline, that's the main thing.
