See you there guys! I am at a friend's place tonight - was ready to chat but now they won't have an excuse to throw things at me as I ignore them for an hour.
Tell us how your night was Louise. And I love the cat's name Timna! We have a dog named Squiffy and we actually call her Minky as a nickname. Where does your 'Minky' name come from. Believe it or not ours is from "The REturn of the Pink Panther" where Inspector Cluseau can't say the word 'Monkey' - say it as 'Minky'. Anyway, that cracks us up so we call our puppy Minky.... Too much information???!!!
Had a great day today. First day off with my hubby for ages. Went to St Kilda, beautiful part of Melbourne, walked the markets, ate coffee and cake at a French patisserie, sunny and hot today. Walked the beach then went to see 'Time machine' - not bad. Now dinner at a friends. A great day all round.
Sounds like a 'perfect' day, Alyson. I can't remember the last time I had my husband all to myself. Too long ago to remember.
So sorry I missed the chat guys, especially as Timna came and won't be here Wed night. Sorry Timna! But I had a fabulous time as the service where this psychic Jenny gave me writing advice (and didn't even know I was a writer). Soooo cool. I love clarvoyants (spelling).
See you all tomorrow night
Lou
P.S. I love your cat's name too Timna (and have you got the cover up on your website yet?)
P.P.S. I expect to hear all about the expo tomorrow night too, Deb

Sorry guys - Mum invited us out for dinner - chinese buffet for $6 at the local rugby club. Couldn't refuse an offer to get out of cooking last night!! And I don't really see my Dad much these days so it was good to catch up with them. Now I'm not usually your local club type of person, but I am seeing benefits such as reasonable prices for food, and cheaper drinks and it's starting to look quite alright - does that mean I'm getting old?? LOL Fi

Sorry I missed the chat last night, but I just couldn't seem to make any head way. Sick kids, homework...blah blah...

Sorry you guys missed the chat (I would rather have had your excuse Fi - I love getting out of cooking dinner) and I hope whoever was sick is better soon, Deb.
Alyson and I had a lovely chat about our respective projects, John Christopher, her coming visit...can't remember what else but the hour went so quickly.
Looking forward to catching up with everyone else on Sunday
great chat

It was a lovely chat Lou! And as such we have decided that none of the rest of you are allowed to come ever again. So it was nice chatting but, bugger off.
LOL!!!
Sorry we missed you! Will you be somewhere warm Sunday Timna? Don't you you getting pnemonia now its getting chilly. (Though it has been the hottest 8 days in May in Melbourne in 50 odd years - beautiful!)
Fi, I did the RSL thing a couple of weeks ago (we live almost next door to one), it was about $8-00 for very very soft fish and very sloppy rice, ie very easy for those with dentures to swallow.
Deb, I hope your kiddlywinks are better. Keep them out of school and off buses and away from shopping centres. Then put them in a big bubble in your lounge room. It's the only way to keep the bugs at bay and make sure you miss no more chats!!!
May be at the footy Sunday but if I'm home I'll chat with y'all Sunday!
