Well its here right beside me, Daughter of the Dark... im just begging to start reading it, but have decided it will wait until after the exam on Monday, but if im particular curious, i'll be reading a little before bed! Perhaps i wont sleep.... just a thought, as i also bought The Novice, by Trudi Caravan, the second book of hers too.... two of my favourite authors all ready to read, and i cant!
Just makes the reward of finishing exams all more worth the while...
So off you guys go.... off to raid the bookstores.... who can finish DofD first!

A friend rang me from Toowong Shopping Village yesterday to tell me she was standing in the Angus and Robertson store looking at Daughter of The Dark. What a lovely surprise! It wasn't due in-stores until Saturday.

YAY! A big hip hip HORRAY to Lou! Thats great Lou, You have much to be happy about right now! I'm far behind than all the rest and have not even brought the first book just yet, but i will.. you see, i'm the kind of reader who needs to give herself a week or so to rest before diving into another novel (so my characters don't get mixed up lol) Is anyone else here like that?

Well, good news, i have tracked down a second-hand laptop.. for $330 at a place in Auchenflower.. I phoned up yesterday and left a message, but no one has got back to me just yet. I think I may call again this morning as everyone knows how eager I am to get a move on with this editing lol I'm not sure how old the laptop is, though the brand is Toshiba.. is this a good brand? I wouldnt' have the slightest clue about laptops.. so any clue would be great! lol.

Well, its that time again! I didn't get the opportunity to start my time plan lastnight as i stumbled straight to bed after i walked in the door. And i'm sure most of you know that feeling now.

want you all to know that i've researched every second-hand shop online for a laptop... i found an ex-government place in Milton, who want $999 for an almost new laptop, complete with internal cd, sound, windows 95 and carry case and of course.. much more lol. i'm very happy with the sound of this and am driving into miltom first thing tomorrow morning and check it out.. if i like it- i'll get it

Well, i have done it, i started reading DotD, and i must say Lou, i haven't laughed as much when reading a book as i have in the first 10 chapters.... you know how to draw us all in! Pagan... what a hunk, 17 or not!
off to the chem book though, i am getting better at chem, and have even taken tonight off work to study, arent i good! lets hope i do!

The end of the book is in view, i will finish it tonight after work... what a turn of events have happened so far. Hope everyone that is reading DotD is enjoying it as much as i am!

I got my copy yesterday! It's sitting on my desk at the moment, screaming "Read me! Read me!" but I'm at work, so I could only read in my lunch break. Can't wait to get stuck into it again tonight!! Fi

Well my copy of 'Daughter of the Dark' is official now! It has been signed in fancy gold pen and I love it. I will start reading it now. I know I will enjoy it as much (probably more) than 'Destiny of the Light'.

well i finsihed DotD 2 days ago, and im edgy again as i have to wait another year to see the final installment. My only hope is that by then, maybe my own work will be in the process of being published! Can only hope! Another great story Lou! When you get up to editing #3 let me know, and i will reread it to find the questions im longing to know in order for the story to be completed.

After reading timna's post about laughing her head off I couldn't wait to get stuck into DotD. And Pagan's threads are hilarious. Trying to talk cat was gorgeous.

And it's nice to see some bits of you in the book. Poor Lou, wanting a cat so you have to live vicariously through Sarah for your feline company.

I started reading, Daughter of the Dark last night and it is GREAT! I didn't get to far though because my face hurt...have 3 stiches in it yuck!
I will get stuck into the book tonight, you can count on it!

Louise, things have been frantic the last couple of weeks!!! I finally got to a book store yesterday and got a copy of DofD, I can't wait to read it!!!!

My Father-in-Law was in town yesterday so I didn't get to start it (bummer) but I am hoping that I will be able to get started tonight. I have this habit of not being able to put a book down once I get started, so I may have it finished in the wee small hours of tomorrow!!!!!
