Okay, I've had a reply from my request for help from the admin forum:

"Sounds like a browser compatability thing! try using the latest IE browser. I was on Netscape and had some
of the same types of problems."

I'm actually using an old version of netscape, so I might update and see if that helps. Anyone using the latest version of IE and still having problems?

Here's another little gem of information you might be interested in:

"One of the members of my forum and a frequent user of my chat says" send a private message to one of the listed members and from then on you can see all non-private messages right away"

I tried it and BY GOSH it works! For how long??????? The chat feature is the one and only complaint I have or have to deal with in regards to my members!"

What a weekend! Friday evening turned out to be quite an early night.. as I'm still recovering from the flu. sniff sniff Though Saturday was my biggest accomplishment this weekend. I managed to start writing at 3pm, after visiting family and relatives for the morning and early afternoon. I managed to edit and re-write the whole 2nd chapter. Today (Sunday) I read the first few chapters of "Marianna" by Susanna Kearsley (1994). This may not have been the best way to start the day as being a romance novel, I had my head in the clouds all day and had trouble trying to get back on track with "Lost Hearts". sigh But all has turned out well as I think the weekend has done wonders for my writing ability. I began editing second chapter this evening at 6pm and 3 wonderful hours have elapsed without my knowing it! Sadly though, I missed chatting with the group tonight! By the time i logged in, it was well past 9 and i couldnt' see anyone in the room.. so, i thought this news would explain my whereabouts

Yay! 40002 words! I love those 10K achievements. They are so hard to reach and as soon as you break them the words just fly onto the screen! Big kisses and pats on the back and tiaras and purple cream pies to us all!

Gosh, I feel so excited and caught up in it, I'm patting my back and I've not done a whole lot of new writing this week. But lots of thinking...
