New webpages on my site

Guys, just wanted to let you know I've got a new page on my website called Getting Published.  It's for people who have a manuscript written but who aren't sure how to present it to a publisher.

I've also finished my Glimmer in the Maelstrom webpage and it has the preliminary cover sketch on it which is pretty cool.  I've never had the opportunity to see the steps involved in the cover going from conception to finished product before and thought I could share that with you.  Exciting stuff!

I just looked at the 2 links, Lou!
The mock up for the cover is brilliant and the info on publishing invaluable! YAY for you!

Thanks Mick, I think the cover is pretty red hot too.  The artist is an Australian guy, currently living in Canada I think - Neal Armstrong (memorable name!).  I'm really looking forward to the coloured version

Loved the Glimmer cover so far Lou. It look beautiful!!! Is that the Harbour Bridge? My hubby went nuts for the dragon. He wants a dragon tattoo and scours the web looking for the perfect design and he loved yours. Do you know the name of the artist? He would love to see some more of their work if possible.

And the Getting Published page is great too. Seems to me we should get our work editied and buffed polished to the best the work can be before trying for an agent/publisher. If you hear the same thing from a dozen published authors it seems to sink in. Good advice from all of your friends. Thanks heaps.

You're welcome, Alyson.  It's funny how you can hear the same piece of advice several times and then finally it sinks in - when you're ready to hear it I suspect.  That's been my experience.

When the student is ready, the teacher will appear!
