Guys, I'm doing a talk about Romance Writing for Valentines Day on Thursday Feb 13, 6-7pm at the Logan Hyperdome Library, Loganholme Qld for anyone in the local vicinity who wants to pop in and say hi.  It's been a while since I was a romance writer, but I'm still part of the fraternity and actively keep up with the latest trends etc, so I won't feel like a complete fraud.  Besides, I'm sure I'll get to talk about fantasy too

That sounds great Lou! But I think Tallis and Khatrene was a great romance. Had me reading the end of Destiny on the floor of the dining room whilst friends were over for a dinner party! They just had to wait I simply could not stop til I reached the end!

Feb 14th will be exactly a year since I first sent of my proposal to M&B. Wouldn't it be fitting if I heard back from them around that day.

Holly, it would be great to meet you if you can come.  And Alyson I think that would be totally fitting if you heard back on Valentine's Day.  At least you should heard quickly, if they've got a slot to fill.  How exciting, your first novel could be out within a year!  Seriously cool.
