Fi is popping in!

Fi

Hey all you wonderful souls!! Have missed chatting with all of you!! Work is soooo busy this year that I can barely get a breather, let alone spare time to surf the net!! Hockey is also taking up 3 time-slots a week, and I'm supposed to be learning more IT stuff for my career in my spare time (spare time?!!!)

Anyways, it's all pretty good at the moment.... only bummer is I got 2 wisdom teeth last Thursday and it still hurts.. but finding new and yummy MUSHY foods is fun! I have rediscovered yogo, and soup is my staple meal....go velish!

Craig is also going great! Shopping for a new car, work is flat out, and he just got some funky business cards (anyone got a biz that needs their puters fixed?!!)

Sable (my puppy) is as gorgeous as ever - and is celebrating his 1st b'day on Thursday... yay!!! Will have to take him to Bones Cafe in Leichhardt on the weekend for a puppycino! Woof!

Chat to you all soon I hope!
Love Fi

Go Fi!  Sounds like your life is full of exciting and wonderful things, which is great.  Thanks so much for popping in to say hi and updating us on your busy life.  And do give Sable a big hug from me.

I always love it when you pop in. We do not see nearly enough of you... Hmmmm, that could be taken the wrong way.

Happy Biffy, to Sable... even though I am late. Sorry puppy.

Hey guys... nice to know I'm missed! And glad to report the lovely holes in my gums are starting to heal nicely, if still a bit sore... I am on early shift this week and next (6am to 2pm) and while I love having the afternoons free, by this morning I am sooo tired! Keep forgetting to go to bed early... ugh! Luckily I now that am getting into coffee it is getting me through the initial "wake up" at work.

I bought the funkiest T-shirt last night... it says "Make Chocolate - Not War" - I love it just for the fact it mentions choccy, but it's also nicely tongue in cheek with current world events... and it matches this site sooo well too! I also bought a "girly" style top to wear to a wedding at Easter, and I'm not usually into sweet little pink tops, but it's different, and not frilly or anything...

Craig's cousin Karen is getting married at Dubbo Zoo - should make for some interesting pix! My cousin Selina got married last weekend at Watson's Bay and I took 5 rolls of photos so that family/friends could afford prints as I know the pros can be expensive! Hopefully they will turn out well - find out today I hope. Will post them on my website for all to see...

Which reminds me... Lou, I finally got around to changing my website like I mentioned to you last month... got the muse under control this week and created a brand new look... same address - http://members.optusnet.com.au/silverdeva

Timna (and any other Sydneyites) I heard that Traci Harding is running a writing workshop in the Hunter on Saturday 26th April.. I am going along (yet to work out if I am staying overnight) so if anyone's interested, send me an email (from my site) and maybe we can meet up. Details are:
The Hunter Writer’s Centre in the Hunter Valley
Date : Saturday April 26
Time : 12 noon - 3 pm
Venue : Community Arts Centre
Contact : Brian for details
Phone : 4940 0003

There is a dinner planned for afterward, where you can sit and chat with Traci and the other workshop partisipants about the day, and about writing! And plenty of lovely places for wine-tasting too!

Cheers Fi

Hi Fi !

April 12 2003, 7:23 PM

Hey,it sounds, as if wed-fever in AUS would've brocken out! However, the pics I found great, can't wait for the next!

That is already "heavy", if someone has toothache and no chocolate or M&Ms may eat! But people say: "to you marry, become everything again well!" Lol.

Recently I bought heaps choco-eggs and hares for my son and its girl-friend for Easter, but at present both are not at home and I can not things deliver. Now I am with the chocolate alone at home....yum, yum! I think, until they are again there, I have not choco-eggs more! But for the moment I lead a sweet life, ful of expectation.

Much fun at the writer-meeting, I wished I could be with you.

Cheers

Grace

Yes, bit far for you to come from Germany, Grace. Do you get to go to writers' workshops over there? And I'm so glad I haven't been left alone in a house full of chocolate - scary thought!

Fi, I love the new website - it's so funky! And I'm really getting into a blue phase so it appealed to me on that level too. I particularly like the little fairy motif on the top left. Very magical.

Thanks for mentioning Traci's workshop. I heard about it recently and it sounds great. Traci is really looking forward to it, particularly to the dinner and getting to chat in a relaxed atmosphere. Should be a great day - she's one inspiring lady

I heard about the workshop awhile back, but the details hadnt been set at that stage. And what do you know, I wont be around for the 26th. Always the way when something is right on my doorstep. Am heading off to wagga for a lovely three weeks! Its that time of year again, and three weeks is the longest i have ever had to be away at uni for. I hope its worth it! GULP! Im going to miss Moet and my big girls (horses) too much!
Anyway, i hope you have a wonderful time Fi.

Timna, have a wonderful, wonderful time at Wagga and try to relax about Moet and the girls.  They'll love you all the more when you get back.
