All this bad luck with agents for Nancy has got me thinking about the agent i wanted to send my MS to, hopefully in the new year. So i got the web adress out again and typed it in to see if any of her acceptance details had changed and i got this:
(The agency does NOT represent picture books, short stories, poetry, fantasy or religious work)

Back to the drawing board!

Another two I wanted to try have their books closed!

Does anyone else have ideas/opinions on agents and whether we should try for one?

Absolutely Timna. Esp if you want to seel in North America which is where the money is. But you have to research!!! Google. Join Writers Marketplace, an online daily update of agency sales to publishing houses, check the insides of books you love to see who the author's agent is.

Worth a crack as many publishers won't read subs by unagented authors...
