Hey guys, the Brisbane Writers Festival starts in a couple of days, so if you're in or around Brisbane this is a must-see event. I'll be in on the Sunday for the whole day at this stage (busy with the QWC from 10-11) so if you see me there, pop over and say hello!

There are lots of great panels and it's a fab way of seeing how writers conduct themselves on "the circuit", to hear and meet publishers, editors and agents, and to network with all of the above. And on top of the obvious career benefits, it's a beautiful venue and a whole lot of fun. So I hope to see you there

Hi Lou,

Aiden is going with class on Thursday and I'm meeting him there so I can grab some afternoon panels. Not sure when/if I'm attending over the weekend. Haven't got that far lol. Been hectic round here for some reason (seriously, can't see what it is but it is busy).

Will hopefully cross paths to say 'hi' in person

Nicky
