The Art of Critiquing
Workshop with Lee Battersby

Giving and receiving critical feedback is an important skill for any writer. Lee Battersby will introduce you to proven methods of critiquing, suitable for writing groups and individual writers, and show you how they can benefit your writing. You will have the opportunity to practice using each technique on a supplied text, on your own work, and works supplied by other participants.

In this intensive three-hour workshop, you will develop tools for creating truly imaginative stories. Award-winning author Lee Battersby will lead you through a series of practical exercises and help you think more broadly about writing within speculative genres. You will also learn where and how to research markets, and how to work on your unique and individual voice. Lee will pass on a set of skills and attitudes with which you can begin to craft cutting-edge work.
