Ciao Andrea, unfortunately no hope for 72nd scale. This has been an tremendous effort to me and for the moment I do not want to renew such challenge once again.

Kit is in

June 4 2006, 11:16 PM

I just rec'd the kit a couple days ago...really nice work Maurizio. I found the detail exceeded my expectations. The buck for the vac-formed canopy/cabin bubble is really clean, but the opposite end has an "almost" other one - the shape is almost there, but can't be used as a "just in case" spare because of texturing...oh well. Nice effort and looking forward to builing the kit up.

My kit is in...

June 9 2006, 11:09 PM

Just received the 1/48 scale Bell 47J kit from Italy and it is beautiful. The amount of detail and the way in which the kit is designed are a tribute to Maurizios` considerable talent. Extremely well thought out with apparent care and precision measurements.Nothing appears odd or misplaced and the resin cast fuselage halves are so well done that they may be mistaken as injection moulded pieces. The cabin/bubble assembly is vac-formed as one piece and is as clean as any I`ve ever seen. Maurizio, you are indeed a Master Modeler and I want to thank you for providing a long overdue model in such a desirable scale!

Hello Tim,

Have a close look, the original thread is from 2006, it came up again after Charles Rawlinson's reply

The kit is/was already available, here is a completed model of ab-47
Agusta-Bell AB-47 J/J-3

So you should be able to get one

Cheers,
Tim
