It's 2700hp at the flywheel, and YES, it makes about 75lbs of boost at 8500rpm.
Just for some numbers...

3 speed Lenco transmission (1.74, 1.30, 1.00)
4.10 Rear end gearing
8 gallons of alcohol fuel per run
10.7" clutch discs (3 of them)
16 quarts of oil every run
17"x36" on 15" rim rear tires
19.73 gallon per minute fuel pump (Waterman Fuel Pump)
275" wheelbase chassis by SportCraft race cars
526 cu. in. Alan Johnson billet cyl. heads

and don't ask how much we spent...
...I lost track of that last year, when it went past $30,000
