Hi, thought I would give you a shout. I looked you up on the net after a friend said you guys existed. I'm in the process of renovating my house in St. George. (an old Bermuda House) and it has an exsiting area in the den area that is set back in the wall. Approx Height 4 feet lenght 7 feet (which i will reduce to 5 feet to allow area for pumps etc..) the depth is 2.5 to 3 feet.
I have already priced out Glass(approx $1000.00) for front only.
Now here are my questions, I'm between two minds, I want set up a Salt water tank to start with and if in a few years i want to go to fresh I have the option.
Should I seal the concrete in fibre glass so if I go to fresh water it's not toxic or should i use another sustance.
Also Do you have info or could direct me to those who keep salt water tanks in Bermuda as a hobby.
I also will be creating a smaller fresh water set up, so won't abandon Tropical fish keeping (Just straying a bit) smile.
