Yeah thats kinda what i meant. When i talked about supporting america, whether we like it or not, we have been doing that thanks to John howard. I dislike Dubya, however what i meant was that i'd rather be with america than the likes of the taliban. Lesser of the two evils i guess.
My first rant was indeed about groups like the taliban and al queade, and the one in the phillipines that kidnap people and then behead them. I am sickened by movements that use violence to acheive political goals.
I dont like violence much at all. when i see things about death, war etc sometimes it makes me think that being a muscician is meaningless. But when you create music, you are creating something positive. I think that strumming a guitar is a million times better than firing a gun.
I am rambling. My first post was meant to convey my outrage that someone has killed australians on holiday.
Its funny how desensitised we are to violence on tv. But it really got to me, because it was so close to home.
