fucking sweet! spent all day yesterday at the warped festival watching some of the best live music (and some of the worst - andrew wk...) ive ever seen!
i missed the mad caddies which pissed me off, but caught the dropkick murphies, who kicked arse, the suicide method, who played some fuckin smooth ska, less than jake who fucking ROCKED! they were awesome - lots of the bands were more just heavy instead of real punk or ska, but these guys were really fucking good!
but rancid, holy shit. fucking unbelievable! tim swaggering around the stage, lars holding it all together, matt freeman ripping up on bass making the likes of marty the swan seem slow! (sorry big fella, i needed to compare to something) they played mostly stuff off and out come the wolves, though some stuff off lets go! and life wont wait, as well as a couple of songs off their new record, out next month, called invincible i think.
and they closed with radio.
which fucking went off.
and pennywise were awesome as well, but rancid stole the show entirely.
