I am trying to find some punk/ska fans in the Bunbury/Busselton area. I want to start up a band or something but I am finding it hard to get anyone with the same musical taste as me. I am thinking of people who listen to Area 7, Bob Marley, Dropkick Murphys.
I'd love to move to Perth, too many red necks down here. I sing and play guitar and have a few songs written but I need an outside opinion to get them to be any good.
Well I play bass in a ska-punk band called 8 Items or Less? but there are a ton of punk bands in perth. There are a few ska bands aswell

i was just wondering if u came up to perth much cause u should come see a show and meet some of the bands. If u were looking for some good music perths got a fair bit
8items seem to be doing show after show (not that i've been attending them, due to me sucking so hard..)
also regular 3-weekly free ska night @ the hydey on mondays.
also weekly reggae night @ clanceys fishpub in subi (if you haven't been yet you should go.)
also also also specail brew have a monthly(?) night at the same pub.
and have been playing a fair bit recently.
and to everyone who didn't come to the RasTafaRi gig at the monkey bar, you missed a great night... heaps opon heaps of people, even met some old OG 2tone rudies in their trojan records jackets...
seems this winter things are really starting to go strong.
