I am leaving Sydney in mid 2005 for Perth City with the wife and baby daughter. I am BIGG into the Ska Scene in Australia and therefore am wondering can anyone advise what way to go for Gigs, Parties etc in the Ska Scene in Perth ?? Whats Doing these days ??

There's the regular fortnightly Dub n Ska nights at the Hyde Park Hotel, Special Brew (band) play Ska covers fortnightly and monthly at Clancy's Fremantle and Clancy's Subiaco, there are weekly Reggae gigs featuring the band Ragga Beats and DJ General Justice (who hosts his own weekly radio show on RTRFM) every Wednesday.
There's also a heap of other bands like Eight Items or Less that play around the place.
The scene is small and very underground but populated by dedicated people who love their Ska!
