J> J> Nucc, it is not I who believes this horrible thing, but you!
In your view, God foresaw in advance who would reject Him and go to hell. However, in your view, even with this knowledge, He still decided to create those men anyways, knowing full well that they would go to hell. He could have ceased to create those hellbound men to prevent them from going to hell for all eternity, but He didn't.
N> Well no Joe I'm afraid it is your belief that is horrible because AT LEAST with my view ALL man has a chance and a FREE WILL choice to accept or reject God wheras your view has God just creating MOST man to just go to hell, with NO CHOICE at all. Sorry, but God is love and YOUR God doesn;t have any ACCEPT for the ELECT. IMV ALL your 5 children have an OPPORTUNITY for pardon because my God is not Herod or Pharoah but an OMNIBENEVOLENT God that is merciful to ALL, however since my God doesn't force Himself on people who may not want to be pardoned, He has given them FREE WILL CHOICE to reject the pardon. Sorry Joe, nothing horrible about my God at all.
The Moderate Calvinist accepting the loving God of the Bible, acknowledges that God created all things good in creating man with free will and not do a extreme Calvinists do by wrenching free will from ALL man because of Adam's sin. Moderates acknowledge the inheritance of the sinful nature passed on to all mankind from Adam's sin but NOT to the point of taking his free will choice from him and just picking some and letting others just go on a continuous rot from birth right into eternity. Moderates acknowledge a loving God who has provided redemption for ALL men allows man to continue to use the free will choice God has given to accept the provision or reject it.
Acts 16:27-31
27 And when the jailer had been roused out of sleep and had seen the prison doors opened, he drew his sword and was about to kill himself, supposing that the prisoners had escaped.
28 But Paul cried out with a loud voice, saying, "Do yourself no harm, for we are all here!"
29 And he called for lights and rushed in and, trembling with fear, he fell down before Paul and Silas,
30 and after he brought them out, he said, "Sirs, what must I do to be saved?"
31 And they said, "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you shall be saved, you and your household." (NAS)
I continue to point to you that your view of God shows Him to be loveless, merciless, and unjust.
Unless we LOVE the truth, we cannot know it ~~ Pascal
