In your family or church situation, it WILL BE DIFFERENT than the situation at John's MAINLY BECAUSE for family knows you personally, and your church WILL NOT LIKELY ACCEPT ANYBODY preaching the Bible is just a stack of paper, or you should not accept the diety of Christ, or you should not accept the Trinity, the teaching of the existence of hell, or even Paul's Epistles or any verses that cover up anything about God that is NOT LOVEY DOVEY.

In one way it is good that you DIDN'T RESPOND THERE, but what Jackie is doing is the work of YOUR ENEMY (Satan) and by calling you SISTERS, she is attempting to SUPPRESS the TRUTH, by HINDERING the Holy Spirit in you from convicting them of their sin.

Are you more concerned about how you look to them or are you more concerned that they are LOST and may not even KNOW IT?
Jen please think.... I've been doing this since I've BECOME A CHRISTIAN, I KNOW THE ENEMY and I KNOW HIS TACTICS. His MAIN ONE is that he's really not a bad person, his marriage is great even though he doesn't believe in God. Don't believe your brothers and sisters in Christ. Look how hated they are. They don't have love. We are your real friends.
John 15:18-19

I'm NOT saying DISCONTINUE in what you're doing. I'm just saying don't look like one of them in doing so.
