Being rich, I mean filthy rich, is a Bitch---but I can live with it.
I just have conditions to all this richness, I mean monetary wealth--- Do NOT hurt anyone! As the bible says; walk softly, be on guard, and be vigilant, care for others as you would care for yourself and even more so.
Yeah right, an atheist preaching the bible as a standard to go by, I have to be crazy, but facts have never failed me. I can argue God to no end, argue science, but I have NO argument in hurting my fellow humannone WHAT SO EVER. Do not do itNOT EVER AND no way.
SO WHY DO I WRITE ABOUT THIS? What has touched my heart that I should record my most deep thoughts?
Well, I just backed off of a real estate deal of several acres of development land because I thought one of the owners would be hurt by the development. I put in over a hundred grand cash in up-front money contingent on a few things, most notably, never hurt others--- the total deal cash out to me was 2 million.
One of the owners that would greatly benefit by my package purchase contacted me by phone and I met him face to face. He is taking care of his aged mother, though the cash sale would be needed and welcomed, his mom does not want to move off her lifelong home stead.
OK I said the deal is off. Or SUPOSE I BUY THE LANDS, GIVE HER a life estate (AS LONG AS SHE LIVES HER LAND IS HERS), and I give her son an option to purchase back at a set price on his inheritance, and I retain easements rights; and in the real estate sale I pay off the 50 grand note on her land, so now her over head is zero, and will remain zero --- will this work for you?
YES, came the answer, and my net gain if all works out in future development is around 8 million in projected profits with my cost under 3 million cash up front----and I get to sleep at night knowing I never hurt, NOT ONE, of Gods creatures.
There is a way to make money, lots of it, and not be a crap head, and not be an evil butt head. And I do not know what I would do if I did not have the bible to guild me. If this gives Glory to Christ then so be it.
But I can say this, if I was at the time of Christ, I would have never allowed him to die on the cross. I would have taken him down, in most kindness, nursed his wounds, fed him the best I have or the best I can get, and stood guard over him at night so no further harms come to him. Such fine people, that are so better than I are of so much value I have NO price to put on their lifeNONE!~
It is Ok for an atheist to have a champion of good things, to have high standards to live up. In this convoluted world of insane, and utterly stupid, humans it is NICE to know right from wrong.
Do not believe that Christ was God or even close to God, but of the very best standards I can fine, the bible says it all and more soaccordingly I go by it.
There is no saving by works, but good works can bring you peace and enjoyment in this life, and that is fine for this sinner.
