I don't think they've dated before although there has been some reports (I got this from somewhere) that they went out a few times as friends. That's about it. I'm still hoping though.

I think Ruby and zhou jie make just a good couple in HZGG. I hope they could make some more series in the future but I read something in HZGG forum that Ruby don't like working with hime because he made her uncomfortable. Is that true?

I heard that from someone but no on any interviews. Ruby apparently thinks Jie is very scary when working. Then she said she wouldn't date him because of the relationship between China and Taiwan. I don't know if it's totally true though.

Um... I heard Jie split up with his girlfriend. When reporters told him Ruby wouldn't date him because he had a girlfriend, he looked really surprised and said it was his past. I don't get the China and Taiwan relationship thing too but that's what I heard. Everyone reckons Ruby likes Jimmy Lin anyway. =(

Ruby and Jimmy? I don't like Jimmy, he look too childish. I hope they could pair up soon in a new serial but I doubt it now since Ruby don't like to work with him. I was kind of surprise to heard that from Ruby because they seem to have great chemistry on screen. Do you think Ruby even like Zhou Jie because he seem to like her?

I feel the same about Jimmy too. I used to like him before he was in the army but since he's came back, he doesn't look as cute anymore.
Even though Ruby may have said she didn't want to work with Jie anymore, I know they are good friends. During the filming of HZGG, Jie would take Ruby shopping and drive her and Alec to and from their hotel (got this from his fan site). I think they have great chemistry on screen. Jie's eyes never leaves Ruby's when she is talking and vice versa.
I'm not sure about Justice Pao, sorry.

Do you mean Jie's eyes never left Ruby when she is talking in real life or the series? I have to agree with you because I used to like Jimmy back in the old days but now something about him had change. Maybe because he's no longer 18 years old but he still got that babyface.
It's ok that you don't know about Justic Pao but still can't wait to watch it. I think Zhou Jie look more handsome in modern style than ancient.

I meant in the series. They ooze Chemistry. It's like they really, really loved each other. Vicki kind of kept her distance from Alec, probably because of her boyfriend. I haven't seen Jie in modern series before but I have seen him in modern photos.
Do you know what role is Jie going to be in Justice Pao? I hope it's an important one!

Justice Pao!?? I think Jie looks way too skinny and young to be him. Is it supposed to be a story of Justice Pao in his younger days? Aw, that means we won't get to see him in any soppy love scenes like we did with HZGG. =(

Yeah, it's a story about the young Pao Qing Tian. I don't know if there are any love scenes in this series, but I don't see why not--everyone needs love even the serious Pao Qing Tian, Hahaha.

His face is painted but the makeup job is way better than Dik Lung's, it's much more even out. Also, young Pao is skinnier actually pretty in shape; I guess men gains weight when they reach 40, j/k. Try these two sites; there are pictures for you to see for yourself.

actually I have one more question - has Zhou Jie got any other projects lined up, it seem like the girls in HGZZ have benefitted the most from the sucess of the series. The guys are slightly shadowed - but then again it depends on how you define sucess.

I heard that both TVB and ATV wanted to purchase this serial but didn't say who got it. I kind of hope that TVB would get it because they do more promotion than ATV which would make Zhou Jie more popular. I think this serial would be a great hit if the script is good because a lot of people would want to know about Justic Pao early life.

I'm in total agreement with you, if TVB purchases the series it will mean not only promotion will be better but also distribution worldwide.

Do you want ATV to distribute it? I don't. I feel sorry for ATV getting low viewing rates but I really hope it's TVB who braodcasts it. Alec and Jimmy Lin are pretty popular in HK right now but their series "The Beautiful Twins"(??) didn't get higher than 9 points. If TVB showed JP, it would have at least 20 points and then Jie would get more popular. If they are filming it right now, then it'll probably be finished around summer. They work really fast!
I know what you mean about Alec and Jie being overshadowed but they hardly ever come to HK so people forgot about them sometimes. Ruby and Vicki signed up contracts as TVB singers and you know how good TVB is with promotion and stuff. Well, that's all I know. =)

I agree, the guys are shawdowed by Ruby and Vicky but can't deny that Huan Zhe Ge Ge did open windows for both Zhou Jie and Alec Su. Besides Young Pao Qing Tian, Zhou Jie also participated in a movie with Jordan Chan Xiao Chun; I don't know the name of that movie and I didn't see it yet so I can't tell you whether it's good or not.

Thanks for the links! I think Jie looks great, face painted or not! =) That photo of him with his elbow on his leg looks cool. I'm used to seeing him in that position. Have you noticed he trod on a lot of people's back in HZGG? And the way he flicks the bottom of his robe back is so.... *can't find words*.
By the way, I thought I'd announce to the whole word Ruby replied to my email. She only said "Good luck." but I'm still really, really, really happy. It's probably just her secretary for all I know. Long live Ruby and Jie, hehe!

Excuse me everyone, I must tell all of you if the one who played as Young Bao in TCS' Young Justice Bao 1994 (Zhou Chu Ming) is more cute than Zhou Jie. And the one who played as Gong Suen in Zhou Jie's Shao Nian Bao Qing Tian (Ren Quan) is also more handsome than Zhou Jie..... But Zhou Jie's Shao Nian Bao Qing Tian is a good series OK!!

There are so many sites on Alec Su and Vicki Zhao. I adore Alec and Vicki too but in some forums, a lot of people (assuming Alec's and Vicki's fans) talk down on Zhou Jie and Ruby Lin. It's rude, amateur, and un-necessary!

It was from an article a while back that said Zhou Jie will appear in Qiong Yao's new version of Yan Yu Meng Meng as a guest (guest appearance). According to the article, Zhou Jie will appear in the later part of the series. From what I recalled the article didn't say what role he will play. I'm sorry but is pretty much I can remember.
Guest appearance means he will not play a major part in the series but only as a guest; he's probably in one or two chapter. (I don't think I answer your question--sorry!)

Just curious 'coz in HZGG he seems so tall. He's way taller than Ruby and Vicki, even when they have those huge heels on. And when he was like on his knees, he was almost as tall as his mom. She's short, I know, but he was like to her neck!

Well, here is a forum for zhoujie...isn't it great. I miss him so much. I know he is making "Justice Pao" (the dark guy with a moon on his forhead that solve cases). Zhou Jie will acted as a young Justice Pao. Should be interesting.

However, Ruby says she wouldn't date him because he had a girlfriend (at that time) and the difficult relationship between Taiwan and China (strange reason). Also she once said she didn't want to work with Jie again because he can be quite scary. Now she is rumoured to be dating Alec Su and also likes Nic Tse. From what i know, they did broke up as she say he didn't have time for her.But when they were promoting the show HZGG in taiwan,Zhou Jie left suddenly as he went to look for her.
He said something like its hard to find someone whom u like ..... and somehow she was touched when she saw him there with a bouquet of flowers.So they got back together...
