stock scans tradestation

In the latest edition of Stocks and commodities
magazine, there is an article on Gary Smith.
In the article, he gives his code for scanning
stocks for breakouts using TC2000. Being new to
the game, and using Tradestation 2000i, I was
wondering if Tradestation was setup for doing
these types of scans and if anyone might be
experienced enough to understand his code and be
able to apply it to tradestation. I would appreciate
any input here , and who knows, maybe we both might
benefit. thanks John
