Shooting of 36th Chamber of Southern Shaolin has begun in early October in Hengdian. The 32 episode TV series is being produced by Wenzhou TV Station and Beijing Hanyu Studio at a cost of around 20 million renminbi. Yuen Cheung Yan is directing the series which stars Wu Jing, Anita Yuen, Zhang Tie Lin, etc. Shooting expects to last for 3 to 4 months and the kungfu series is slated for March or April distribution.
