There were words that I did not understand...so here's my best shot. A lot of things didn't make sense to me in the article....like since when did Chilam ask Anita's hand in marriage on the radio? And this article pertains mainly to chilam...^_^x

On the topic of marriage, Chilam Cheung is very familiar with the question. During these past 3 years, the topic of marriage has came on very frequently. From asking Anita's hand in marriage on radio, to appearing at a wedding parlor, asking for an early vacation, to a secret ceremony, there have been many more rumours. At the end, Chilam said that he will never mention marriage again.
He and Anita Yuan has been dating for 10 years. Regardless if they admit that they are married or not, they give the public the image of a husband and wife already.
"Really? I don't have that feeling at all." Chilam replies.
Chilam is 32 this year and really wants to have kids. He and his other half both want kids already.
Reporter: When you were 20 something years old, you spoke of marriage already. Hong Kong men usually think about settling down when they're 30. Do you think that you want to get married earlier than all of them?
Chilam: Well, it's because we have been going out for quite awhile now. The second reason is because I really want to have kids. When I see my nephew and niece, it makes me want to have my own kids.
Reporter: Do you want to be a father?
Having offspring is part of human life. Every man wants to be a father at some point in his life. This is a fact.
Reporter: A lot of people get married and do not have children. He asks something that I dont understand.
Chilam: I've thought about this before, but during different parts of a person's life, he does different things. Having children is one part of a persons life. Ideally, I would like two kids. The two kids would be able to keep each company so that no one would be lonely. I, personally, have an older sister and a younger sister. My childhood was very happy.
Reporter: Does Anita want to be a mother?
Chilam: Yes. But there are a lot of things that just because you want to do it, it doesn't mean you can. I have friends who have always wanted to have children. They tried numerous ways to achieve this, but they were unable to. Somethings are just meant to be. In fact, maybe I won't be destined to have children either.
Reporter: Are you at the stage of marriage yet?
Chilam: I don't know yet since I don't have much time. Most of my time is spent on work. If I have children, I want to be there for them. I want to watch them grow up. I'm afraid that once I have children, I won't be able to have time for them because of work. In my opinion, we can all learn a lot from children. That's wy I love to watch children grow up.
