If u watched the Dec 2002 ep of TGIF, u can see that Anita has quite a lot of fans in Spore. Perhaps it's just that the fans are not connected with each other that it seems very little. I'll lend u the tape of the gameshows, TGIF's in it as well. The tape's currently with mariska, then I need to lend it to the S'porean fan I told u abt (the one who lent me Guan). After that, I'll pass it to u, and at the same time, some of my collection as well. I've got C'est and I;ve seen it several times. I never fail to let the tears flow each time, it's amazing to know how marvellous Anita's acting can be! With a good plot, director and cast, Anita's capable of another hit, let's just hope she gets sth like that again before sth starts a family.
I've recently gotten hold of the movie Gongfu where she speaks her own Mandarin. The 1st disc's spoilt though, so I need to borrow it from that S'pore fan I told u abt. She's got the movie. I can only watch the 2nd disc. Dunno if u wanna watch it cos' like u said, it's really aginising watching her in terrible shows, and the movie's worser than Innocently. In fact, it's the worst I've ever seen. At least my opinion's based on only the 2nd disc. Another S'pore fan told me that the first disc is way better, so my judgement may be wrong. She doesn't like the movie either...most Anita fans don't. Hehe...I son't exactly want anita to speak Mandarin, it pulls her acting down. She seems terrified of using Chinese and her acting's not as good as when she's using Canto. But her acting's still up to standard. I guess she's really nervous. Tell me if u wanna watch it though and I'll pass it to u when I get hold of it. Haha, but I would still rather have a dubbed Anita voice in Chinese.
hmm...now that u mentioned it, I wish anita was more cruel as Yingying. hehe...call me sadistic. OMG...I am watching Zou Xiang Gong He!!! I can't believe u watch it too!!! None of my friends watch it, so I've got no one to talk abt it to...yeah man! It's wonderful now that I've found u, I simply love the show! I kinda skipped episodes after my fave character (li Hong Zhang) died though....*sob*sob*. He was so damn cool and smart! Besides, it's too late, so I opt to give it a miss when I need to wake up early the next morning (for school...despite it being a Sat).
Hehe...I'm anti-Fann Wong. Don't worry, I'm not a fan of Zoe either, but I prefer her way more than Fann. My dislike for Fann has nothing to do with Zoe though. i just find Fann Wong very unnatural...who cares if she supposedly 'broke into' Hollywood?
Yuppie...it's horrid having to see Anita in bad movies. After Gongfu, I've decided to seriously be more picky when it comes to watching her shows.
Oh yup, Huang Ri Hua's not the producer of Innocently...the producer's Xiao Ruo Yuan. Yup, the Guan u're watching is the same version I've watched. Agree...the distributor sucks! The theme's really nice but it doesn't exactly suit period dramas. Which ep r u up to now? For me, I don't like seeing an Anita so in love with Chilam in the series. When I was watching those episodes, I was thinking, "Anita, wake up..." It gets much better at the back though, I simply love the back parts!
Don't mention it....we're all Anita fans, so we'll all help each other acquire Lenlen's shows. Hehe...call it the 'Anita spirit!' Haha...I've got the same feelings as u...whenever I miss Anita on TV, my heart aches! I think it's partially due to the fact that we rarely see her on the dumb TV here....both channels concentrate on the new stars like 5566(to me, they're a bunch of really ugly guys). Mariska's really helpful....she was the one who passed me a whole lot of precious movies....which could never be found in S'pore. There're some China fans which help out greatly as well. Most of my collection are from Mariska and other S'pore fans. I'll try to introduce u to them one day...Hope u don't mind. I need to get their consent first.
