Anita fans would have noticed that Anita, who is fond of anything refreshing and has sported different hairstyles, actually has another secret – a covert tattoo.
Anita explains, “I prefer having variations but because my hair grows too rapidly such that each time I just iron it, my hair would grow long again. It seems as if I am trying to save money by perming it. After that, I can leave it alone for a long time and…(I dunno what she is talking about ~ someone pls help! What’s O-ba-sang?) , so I rarely perm my hair.”
Anita has a secret tattoo on her waist that she had gotten it done in Taiwan. It was because she had seen Lan Xin Mei’s tattoo and felt that it was very pretty that she decided to get one herself. At first, she had expected the process to be painful, but it turned out to be quite fun. (Really?!! I thought tattoos were very painful)
When Faye Wong and Nicholas Tse were dating, they had gotten similar tattoos on their waists. However, despite having a 9-year relationship with Chilam, Anita does not intend Chilam to get a similar one as she feels that a tattoo is a very personal thing. This image would accompany her forever and as long as she feels like getting one, she could always do so without having someone getting one with her. It is also because of this reason that she forbids the media to take any photos nor is she willing to divulge the picture of her tattoo.
Anita is already 33 years old. Yet, she still speaks with the excitement of a child. She is also aware of the negativity of being too straightforward and the need to control her habit. However, when reporters ask her how she feels towards co-operating with Director Wang Shu Ya on the set of the movie Gongfu, she directly replies, “I kept on laughing the first time I saw her because she really resembles a racoon.” (haha!!! Lenlen is so adorable! :D )
This is actually the first time Anita has worked with a female director despite having entered the industry 10 years ago. Initially, she had pictured female directors to be like Sylvia Chang or Xu An Hua. She had not anticipated them to look like a child! (Oh gosh! Wonder what the director would think if she learns about what Anita has said. Haha!)
Anita feels that it is easy to co communicate with Wang Shu Ya because she is able to understand what Anita is trying to get across. So even if they hug each other for photos, rumours would not spread. However, when it comes to Tsui Hark, Anita would not dare to speak with him because she feels that he is as strict as an old master. As for Derek Yee, he is like her father or elder brother to her as he would discipline her and even advises her on which car to purchase. Lastly, Peter Chan is like her friend - approachable – and is someone whom she can be frank with.
