During an interview with Dong Zhang Xi Wang at the opening ceremony for Chilam's new film, "Bang jia" (literally "Kidnapped" in English. not sure what's the actual eng title) on 6 Dec 2006, Chilam revealed that he would name his baby 'Morton'. When asked if there was any significant meaning behind it, he said, it's cos 'Morton' sounds like "Mo tong" in Cantonese. ('Mo Tong' means 'Monster child'.) This thought came to him as he found his little one to be pretty mischievious. For instance, Baby Cheung would wet his nappy immediately after they change new ones for him - as if he was playing a trick on his parents LOL
Well, I'm not sure if Chilam said this half in jest or is 'Morton' the baby's real english name. He kept a pretty straight face when saying it tho'. Or perhaps the name is real but he was joking about the reason behind it???
