Wow,this is such a challenging piece to translate.

ANyway, here it goes..
Cond¨¦ Nast, the reputed publisher of Vogue, Vanity Fair, GQ, Self and the likes; collaborates with Women of China magazine to come up with an all new magazine, ¡°Yu Ji Self¡±. Hitting the newsstands on 25 Mar 2007, ¡°Yu Ji Self¡± ¡®s basic tenet is ¨C ¡°To Please Oneself¡± and ¡°Beautiful Heart, Mind and Soul¡±. It targets professional working women. Topics include: health, beauty, fashion, love, career and lifestyle. With its principle of ¡°being practical and fun¡±, it aims to understand the needs of modern, working women. Written with a direct and lively style, it makes for light reading. Representing the core values of ¡°Yu Ji Self¡± are the four actresses gracing the cover of its debut issue. They are, namely; Carina Lau, Mei Ting, Rosamund Kwan and Anita Yuen.
(Note: I¡¯ll only do the part on Anita)
Anita personifies the tenet of ¡°Pleasing Oneself¡±. Her independence and the way she lives her life carries an air of unhurried elegance.
An independent woman would dance to her own pace even in an established relationship. That is why Chilam still remains as ¡°Mr Cheung¡± even after the birth of their child. While many married couple would get suspicious of their better half, Anita and Chilam does not need the bondage of marriage. They are each other¡¯s ¡°best friends¡± with trust as their relationship¡¯s bedrock. (Note: I think this interview was done before news of their secret marriage was publicly acknowledged by them.)
¡°I¡¯ve never wanted to rely on him. I don¡¯t feel insecure without marriage. Rather, I would feel insecure without money. Hence, I insist on being financially capable. That was why I had wanted to continue working last year even though I was in poor health. But Chilam stopped me. He said the weather was too cold and asked me to leave such matters to him. Perhaps he felt that I¡¯ve been too independent all these years. But I think that¡¯s best.¡±
This is indeed what Anita should be proudest of. She is still responsible for her own happiness even though the baby is their joint responsibility. Motherhood has given Anita a new outlook on life and happiness. ¡°To me, a kid is a very good reminder. He allows me to re-live the growing up years together with him. I don¡¯t care how he would turn out after he grows up. My greatest wish is for him to be a happy child.¡±
Facing the camera after a long absence, Anita was trying to make herself comfortable again when the photographer asked her to think of the moment when she got her Best Actress awards. She replied cheekily, ¡°Ah, then I would say, ¡®Oh, it¡¯s me again?¡±
Motherhood or not, looks like Anita remains the mischievous screen queen of yesteryears. (Yup, she¡¯s still as adorable as ever!)
She strides confidently on the streets of HK regardless of her figure. Aware of the stares of the paparazzi, it doesn¡¯t bother her one bit. In fact, she would often stop to pose for pictures. Anita has truly attained a level of self-assurance where she could face the camera confidently regardless of how she looks outwardly. Her beauty and confidence shines through at all times. This is truly God¡¯s greatest gift to a woman.
