ANITA YUEN WING YI : I MESSED UP AGAIN!
THEROMETER
Anita Yuen Wing Yi is in trouble again. Last
Thursday (March 16) Len Len at a promotion for
SIU NGO GONG WU threw water on three
occassions which led to the press attacking her as
"impolite". Who knew more was on the way, as
the actress who plays Ngok Ling San Chan Tak
Yung claimed that Len Len is "crazy, sick and
need to see a doctor" and pointed out Yuen Wing
Yi's bad points.
After the assault Chan Tak Yung flew back
to Taiwan for the presidential election, leaving the
big eyed big voiced Len Len pounding her heart
and saying : I messed up again!
THREE MAJOR OFFENSES
FIRST OFFENSE : She pretended to be
kind hearted as she was about to give a jacket to
Chan Tak Yung, but when they arrived in Beijing it
was a different story, luckily she did not listen to Len
Len, otherwise she would have frozen to death long
ago.
"A friend called me and promised to make me
a down jacket with my name stitched on it to Beijing.
At the time Chan Tak Yung and I were at a costume
fitting together, so I asked her for her English name
and asked my friend to make her one too. Finally
before I got on the plane to Beijing I still haven't
gotten it. I didn't get it myself, what can I do? If I
deliberately didn't give it to her then I am unreliable,
on top of that when we got to Beijing I already told
her that my friend couldn't finish in time and she said
it doesn't matter, she has made preparations herself."
SECOND OFFENSE : She is really jealous, aimed at Chan Tak Yung,
because she does not want Yeung Pui Pui (famoust Taiwan television series
producer, SIU NGO GONG WU investor) to work with her again.
"I thought that was very funny, what would I be jealous about? I dont' know if
Yeung Pui Pui from now would approach me about a series. Who is Yuen Wing Yi?
I can affect Yeung Pui Pui's casting? Then I would be really talented."
THIRD OFFENSE : She is impolite, unfriendly. Even Chan Tak Yung's
mother was not spared. Len Len in the dressing room loudly told Mrs. Chan to keep
quiet.
"The scariest part is this, from the beginning to the end, I have never run into
her mother in the dressing room. The crew can confirm that. The only time I
mentioned her mother in the dressing room with Chan Tak Yung was 'please ask her
not to close the closet door so forcefully, because it echoes". First, I didn't say that
loudly, secondly, because the closest is what separated the rooms, whenever the
door is slammed it is very noisy. When I made FA MULAN Suen Hing and I stayed
in the same hotel, so we had an understanding to try not to close the closet doors.
My room was between Chan Tak Yung's and Suen Hing's, previously I have asked
them and both said they didn't always close the closet door, but it really was noisy
and I only mentioned it again then."
I HAVE MY DIRECTION
Len Len repeatedly thought about everything
and still did not understand whether Chan Tak Yung's
accusation was due to misunderstanding or other
reasons.
"They really made no sense because during
production we really had no problem. We had very
few scenes together. She is rather quiet. Even when
the crew had a few words about her, I would analyze
with her to see if she could improve. If I felt that she
misunderstood me and was upset at me earlier, why
would I do that." The strange part was on the first day
when Chan Tak Yung came to Hong Kong to
promote the show, everyone while in TVB and even at the hotel still was all laughs.
"Toward Chan Tak Yung, I don't know where I messed up? But on the day
of the press conference I really regretted not trusting the reporters. When they
played Chan Tak Yung's taped interview for her, I knew I messed up. I blamed
myself for reacting too fast, not believing Chan Tak Yung would say I am crazy, and
thinking that the reporters wanted to make some news."
Perhaps sorry is very hard to say, but later Len Len still examined her water
throwing and reaction to the reporters. If she trusted the reporters, she would not
have reacted so sensitively.
"Actually I really don't know how to face the press. I don't know what
everyone would think when I said that, but I felt many people is making me their

"I don't ask for everyone to praise me, when you don't yell and say in a kinder
manner, I already treated myself as being ahead. Actually I no longer stop midning
people saying that my career has gone downhill. I clearly know I have to keep my
workload. Working on television because I don't have any film offer? If I can
choose, I would rather choose using a few months to make a series. I have more
time to communicate with actors and directors, like while working on SIU NGO
GONG WU, I even know how much property Siu Chai (Richie Ren) has. When the
director scratched his head I could guess what he wanted. That is spark. I feel this
way is happier than the 'cut, ok, next scene' type of film and is also my choice."
Indeed, Yuen Wing Yi's direct personality has bee the same as always;
whether it is a lovable advantage or a despicable disadvantage depends on who you
ask. Yet like Len Len said, she did not ask for everyone to accept her, because,
"Friends, even reporter friends, I feel I already have enough. Ultimately, I
have enough people to be my pallbearer in the future, I already have more than
enough."
TEETH MARKS
Len Len has had plenty of gossips, while is related to her directness. With her
natural personality, Len Len could only remind herself that she wanted to remove her
name from the gossip list and no longer involve any third party when speaking in
public.
ANNABELLE LAU HIU TUNG
Lau originally was a good friend, later she publicly revealed that she has sold
her out. The matter got out of hand as Lau and Yuen both have support from insider
friends.
After such a long time, perhaps today Lau Hiu Tung still is unsure about what
I am amd about? Yet somethings cannot be completely publicized, if she has to
blame someone she can blame me for not making myself clear.
FRANCIS NG CHUN YU
At a premiere she loudly told Ng Chun Yu to pay her back, which made him
feel very awkward and later expressed his complaint.
Playing the stock market with Chun Yu was actually publicized. Because we
are so familiar, I lost myself temporarily and ignored his masculine honor in front of
the press. I didn't consider that under the circumstances I was wrong. Later I also
apologized to Chun Yu.
ASTRID CHAN CHI CHING
She exposed that Chan Chi Ching and Patrick Tam Yiu Man after announcing
their breakup still went to pray together at Master Siu's.
I don't know if I really have gossips in my destiny. When the truth comes out

"Len Len didn't lie, she was chasing me out of fun. I did told her to stop

a distance away on stage from us. Ah Len only threw water at the floor and didn't
get me. We are so familiar that having a little fun is no big deal. I wasn't mad at Len
Len, later I was talking with Yam Yin Chai (Richie Ren) on the other side. If I know
other people were aiming their arrows at Len Len, I would help her explain and the
matter wouldn't have gotten this out of hand."
As for problems Chan Tak Yung accused Len Len of, first time collaborators
with Len Len Tsui Siu Keung and John Chiang Dai Wai both said that Len Len is
very playful and they had no problem.
Chiang Dai Wai even confirmed that Len Len is very likable. She treated the
crew well and was quite popular with everyone.
"She indeed was very playful, and talks really loud, but she is kind hearted.
Mean? Loud and mean are two different things. As for whether there is any
misunderstanding between two girls, I don't know, girls are hard to say, (Was Chan
Tak Yung popular?) I don't know, I don't have any scene with her."
The source of Chan Tak Yung's rage against Yuen Wing Yi was when the
cast of SIU NGO GONG WU played a game of truth on a radio program. Suen
hing claimed that Chan Tak Yung would move the furniture in her room in the middle
of the night and Len Len chimed in. Later Chan Tak Yung responded in kind.
