The lady in red is played by Leann Liu Xue Hua. If you don't know who she is, then you must have been sleeping under a rock for the last two decades or so...unless you were just born recently. Liu Xue Hua played a lot of Qiong Yao's romance series, such as The Mute Wife.
Anyway, her relationship with Anita is that she used to work for Anita's dad. However, she stole this very important kung fu book from Anita's dad and learned the kung fu which made her invincible. By the way, she used to be a man before she learned this strange form of kung fu. After Anita's dad has disappeared or been missing for a long time, she sort of took Anita into her sect/cult as her very own daughter (but with a hidden motive of course).
