Whether it's from River flows east (su fen), or He's a women she's a man, or Cest' mont cher (oops) haha... you can't forgot Anita, a representation of a Hong Kong beauty. She's like Hong Kong people, never giving up. She puts a lot of effort into natural beauty.
When interviewing her, she says "In hong Kong, i do not worry about my skin too much, butwhen I go to mainland china to shoot series, I would do skin cleanse every saturday, probably because of China's climate. I've once heard from a specialist that you shouldn't do a skin treatment everyday. Just do what is enough. Skin is just like people, it needs rest." When she is looking at supplies, she just finds what she needs. It makes her happy... (Delfin!! help!! i don't get what she is trying to explain here.... she's just saying how she likes the products and how it makes her happy??)
umm... here's a summary on the rest.. ( I have to go but I'll finish translating ).. it says
she likes her mother's cooking... and states some of her favorite foods.
Also, anita says that whenever she can't solve a problem that she's having, she just goes to sleep. WHen she wakes up, her brain is clear and is able to find a solution.
Then it says... don't think that just because Anita is thin, she doesn't excercise... She enjoys running, playing badminton, and states" excercise has a lot to do with beauty. she states "A lot of people use unhealthy methods to lose weight like eating medicines but it's extremely unhealthy, so i choose to obtain my beauty from excercising"

On the day of the interview, Anita looked fresh and refined, probably resulted from her constant care of her skin. However, she said " I do not take care of my skin very much when I am in Hong Kong. However, when in China, I would do a mask after each take. I would also do deep cleansing twice every Saturday. That probably is because it is dusty in China. An elder once told me that you have to do a mask everyday. However, I do not think that we need to nourish the skin too much. It si alright as long as there is just enough nourishment. Just as the other parts of the body, the skin needs rest. Hence we have to rest our skin. As for choosing skin care products, choose the ones that suit you. Most importantly, we should not feel pressured but choose the ones that we like. Latelly, I fell in love with a special brand of whitening notion. I felt very happy when I applied that notion and that helped to make it more effective.
What does she take internally to help care for her skin? She is a traditional person and believes in taking traditional kind of soup. Carrot and green turnip, water chestnut and tomato soup; tomato and fish soup are her favourites. However, she can have these from her mom only when she is in Hong Kong.
Freshness and full of energy is one of the necessity of beauty. When asked how she de-stresses and maintains her freshness, she replied that SLEEP is the only way. "Whenever there is a problem that I cannot resolve, I would go to sleep. My mind will be fresh after the sleep and I then can think about salving the problem rationally." " I can go to sleep, whenever there is a place where I can put up my feet"
Even though she is thin, she loves activities such as climbing, jogging, playing badminton and other exercises. Anita said " health goes hand in hand with beauty. Only when you are healthy that your natural beauty can be revealed. For example, being thin is the standard of beauty nowadays. If you maintain thinness by dieting, taking laxatives, etc. it is not healthy. Besides you are wasting food and damaging the mechanism of the body.
Anita believes that internal beauty is just as important as external. " 3parts internal and 7 parts external" External beauty should come with intelligence. External beauty without intelligent talks and behaviour is short lived. Beauty which comes from internally is more lasting. "Early in my career I became excited easily and had a bad temper. I did not know how to relax. My friends said that my eyes were scaring looking whenever I was angry. Now I have learned to relax and accept other peoples' criticism. I do not get angry too easily.
What is a beautiful life? She said that a good life would be one that you retire early and rich, just like the title of a book. This of course is a joke. she wish that in one or two years time, she can have a family with kids and a husband and work. She does not need a luxurious life. One that she is comfortable is enough. "If I have a year's holiday, I would like to go travelling with the girls who joined the beauty contest the same year as I . It does not matter where to go, only that the food must be good" she continued.
A lot of people would have thought that Anita is a person who has it all. Career and romance are both satisfactory. However, Anita said that she is quite an ambitious person. She still thinks that she can do a bit better in work. As for Romance, it is necessary for two people who stay together to learn from each other. Maybe that is life you have to keep on learning to improve yourself and your beauty.

Anita is selling her 1,700 square feet home at HK’s Repulse Bay. The luxurious home at Lai Keng Yuen was bought for HK$10.5Mil in 1998 under a company name. It seems doctor has diagnosed that Anita's lungs is rather 'strained'. So she's gonna take a good rest during Chinese New YEar and consume some tonic. She said she has always been a "Health Babe" (Waht a cute name, haha!) and was shocked by this diagnosis.
She had been very busy with "Gu Lian Hua" during the second half of last year. In fact, she nearly 'gave her life' to "Gu Lian Hua", working really hard on it and rushing fr Shanghai to Taiwan filming it.
Well, I personally think Anita shd quit smoking..it's for her own good...but then again, even if she did, she'll always be exposed to second-hand smoke on the film set..it's the working environment..sigh! I'm really worried abt her health..Anita, do take care, pls!

Basically the news is abt Anita in Taiwan doing dubbing for "Gu Lian Hua" cos the director wanted her to use her own voice for dubbing. And she's gonna speak Mandarin. Anita had thought her Mandaring was Ok until she mispronounced a few words. She said it was a 'torture' for her as well as for the studio staff..ha!ha!
"Gu Lian Hua" will have 2 versions: a movie version as well as the original tv series version. It'll be out in mid and end April respectively...my god, i can't wait to see this...wonder when i'll be able to get my hands on it...
Anita is very satisfied with her work. She said "Gu Lian Hua" is her representative work for tv series, just like "C'est la vie Mon Cherie" ("Xin Bu Liao Qing") was her rep work for movie. She said, "Having done such a good work, I'm ready to move on the the next stage in life." (hmn, does she mean marriage?)
The director is also very satisfied with Anita's portrayal of Yun Fang in Gu Lian Hua. He said she did a great job and would have no problem getting a Golden Horse Award next year. (well let's keep our fingers crossed....shall we? It's high time she get a Golden Horse..)

Hi! This is my first post here. I've been a fan of hers since "That's life, me darling" co-starring Sean Lau Ching Wan (yep the movie which shot her to stardom). I've been following her career ever since; watching every single of her movies and drama series and even bought her "one and only" album. She's just so full of personality and i admires her straight forwardness personality other than her acting talent. Well who can not admire her courageous when she rejected all the movie offers from Hong Kong in recent years because in her opinion, they were all a bunch of low standard quality of movies. i can't even get it in S'pore...i'm trying to get a fren's fren to buy it if she goes to china...guess it's hard to get hold of china series in s'pore...korean series are all the rage only...sigh!

emmm..ya i saw it..but i din like richie ren n i din like sun xing (su jili)'s character in there! n i don like the nun either..i also saw a site by someone on the net saying she had a bit of poor acting..maybe he's a devout reader of the jin yong novel and he has seen better serials. i don really like the story compared to mulan..hehe. wonder if the story wud have been better if zhao wen zhuo was cast as ling hu chong? haha..too bad li zhi xi(crown prince of mulan) was cast as a bad guy too..

Anita really looks very innocent and docile here...just like what her role, Su Fen, requires....
But from what I've heard of, it seems that Anita's screen time is not that much in the first 25 episodes. (the series has a total of 37 episodes)
and to think that Su Fen is supposed to be the female lead...hng! how can!
and you know what? for all the hard work she put in to speak Mandarin for her part, not to mention the stress that it brought with her...they dubbed her voice in the end!

Anita, who has spent most of her time filming in China this year, was spotted shopping at Tai Ku Shopping Mall at Admiralty yesterday. At ard 3pm yesterday, she was seen shopping at Joyce boutique (one which sells branded clothes in HK, something like Club 21 in S’pore), without any make-up on. She happily left with 2 big bags of clothes after an hour.
Anita said, ““All these clothes are mine. I’ve not been in HK for 8 months already. And coincidentally, those clothes which I’ve spotted earlier onare on sale now. I’ve only spent a couple of $10,000 – not considered as ‘crazy’ yet.”
When asked if she was buying clothes for ChiLam, she replied that, “I don’t need to shopped for him as he has special personnel to do so. So, I don’t to worry about that.” She was asked how she was going to spend Christmas. “Well I’ll be having dinner with my friends. I won’t be throwing any parties as parties are not for me.”

A long time ago, ChiLam was often ridiculed as someone who wanted to make money out of Anita as she was a screen queen then and had both wealth as well as fame whereas ChiLam was only a little-known 3rd rate actor.
But it is just the reverse today. ChiLam, based on his principle of “everything goes”, is a self-made millionaire (I’m not sure if I got this correct. Someone pls double-check). Whereas Anita who has shifted base to China and doesn’t have much work, is almost detached from the entertainment scene. Perhaps life is that strange!

Anita & Chilam attended Nat Chan Bak Cheong’s (nicknamed Ah Lek’s) 54th birthday party. (If I’m not wrong, this’s the guy who acted as the God of Wealth in “Twinkle, Twinkle Lucky Star”.) They brought him red wine as a gift but they only stayed for less than 5 minutes and avoided reporters’ camera. They said they had to rush to the airport to send someone off.

It’s a $250K (I think it’s in Taiwan dollars since this is from Taiwan news.) low-cut, black chiffon dress, which just arrived from Italy. As this dress is super low-cut, a bra can’t be worn – only a nipple tack (sorry, I can’t remember if this’s the correct term but I’ve heard models/fashion designers mentioned it before & it sounds something like this, anyway, u know what I mean.) can be used. (anyway, I don’t know why this news need to be so explicit in this….well, I’m only translating…)

Anthony Wong had said that he wanted to do something surprising at the Golden Horse Awards. In the end he ganged up with Anita to do something even more impolite than what Cai Kang Yong had done the previous year - teased the Best Supporting Actor nominees intentionally. But it was over done!
Both of them had ignored the other nominees' feelings. Anita had felt that Ge Min Hui would win because he had a 'supporting role' face while Anthony Wong felt that it would be Wu Yan Zu as he had many friends, bad attitude and would beat the director. Although he said that he was merely joking, it turned out that the winner was Wu Yan Zu. Luckily, the previous year's joke on Andy Lau (who didn't win Best Actor) was not repeated.
The 2 presenters had a happy time chatting, but had ignored other nominees to joke that only these 2 people (Ge Min Hui and Wu Yan Zu)were qualified to win while others were Nothing!
