In 1998, Anita actually went secretly to China for 8 days to participate in an event that aids the poor. She did not tell her friends that she was going to help the poor but told them that she was going on a tour instead. She spent her b'dae with the villagers in China. The children sang her a song and she was very touched. She also received birthday wishes from her friends from HK through a BB machine(What's that?) and realised that she had so many friends who cared about her. Her job was to teach the poor to become independent and she hopes to be able to donate money and effort again to aid the poor. No wonder I saw some pics with Anita with some villagers before on the net! I was wondering whether it was a film or sth....she's so charitable.

This is from one of the news(03/13) Mariska gave us :
.....
Anita's role in Unconquerable Drunk ( we used to call it Drunken Fist ) is complicated.Sometimes she must be funny, somtimes sad . With Anita, it's a torture to her.
Sometimes,Anita must act all sad scenes during a day ... Anita-a liberal and funny person- must speak off-hand : "wah ! so boring, so sad ! " .When a scene ended , she then turned to her typical character ... play and laugh !
_Some things about this TV serie :_
the main actor (Nick Chueng ) called Long Thieu Yu (heheh accept this,ok ? I don't know how to trans it ) . There's a scene Nick disguised himself as 3nd prince "Na Tra " , he wore a red brassiere ( s/t like a bikini ) , did up his hair looked like 2 peach on his head . He was on the way to a fair .. and they ( Anita and Nick ) meet each other , starting a long and thorny story !
_ funny activity :_
1 day, there were over 100 actors and actresses at the studio . The atmosphere is very funny there . Anita stepped on the stage , fondled "2 peach-chignon " of Nick , .. she even pulled his red bikini up :D ( allow me to call it a bikini) .<Mischievous Anita > ... that makes everybody laugh much. After that , she played a " drunken fist " on the stage , in front of many people ( I wonder how she looked when fighting the Drunken Fist :D )...
The director must have a martial art instructor helped her go down the stage , Anita was still overjoyed , she jerked a basket or s/t like that from the martial art instructor , put it on her head and ran into the crowd of actors and actresses...Everybody had peals of laughter again , clapped their hands to support her !
The atmosphere here- inside the studio- dispeled the cold air outside ( around 0 degree C ) .. maybe it's a way they often do to decrease harsh and bad weather ( How hard is Anita !) ./.
hehe.. this is my 2nd time doing the translation . I'm touched when u accept the trans and support me hehe...

hehe.. I'll try my best but ... < to Smiley & Debbie too >

b/c my trans depends on my aunt's free time ( .If Smiley or Debbie has free time , can u help us ? Among us, who r free will translate and post here , ok ! Thnx

Yesterday, wearing Sport clothes , light make up,Anita appeared . Because of the film "Kungfu Chinese women group" < i don't know how to translate .. pliz sympathize ! ) , she must go to Shanghai . Anita is known as a gentle , joining and won miss HK 1990 , meet her in person , we will realize that she 's bouyant , zealous and intelligent ( she knows how to arrange her works logically)
_I'm a ...._
Anita in this film , with another 4 girls establish a group ( I think like in Charlie angles ).Anita is the leader (or a eldest sister) Her role - the eldest - is very difficult : her superior constrains her to quit the job , helps 4 younger sisters in the group fighting Karate , or 1 time Anita has to undertake a boss of an Entertainment company... Anita must learn much about the deeds, how to deal or treat with the others .... from the characters in real life to put into practice in this film .
Helping the new comer ( i meant new the new actresses )
4 young and pretty girls in the film r from TW and Sing ...Anita seems to be interested in talking about the new actresses: " as we know , acting with new actresses or actors who have no experience is very hard " after saying this ,Anita added " in fact, ... they r very dutiful , always listen to me ... when i said don't play or talk loudly when filming. They all listen to me and stop immidiatly.Of course , I also teach them how to act rightly in front of the camera " when Anita says these words , she looks really like a elder sis.
Anita had a funny dream about her bad Mandarin :
She's not very good at Mandarin ... even in her dream : she couldn't speak it smoothly , fluently .. she usually interrupts her speech b/c of her vague Mandarin words. that makes she feels tetchy, dissatisfied ... and she one time when she can't say in Mandarin , she decided to spurt out her continuous words in Cantonese ( to feel satiety ) .... < humorous Anita :D heheh ...>
Sincere words from her thought
3 years of filming, Anita feel unsatisfied ... b/c almost the films she acted were negligent ... Generally , she feels she doesn't have enough time to "un" and feel deeply the contents or the characters . Around ten days or not much more , turning round ,the film ended ... So , Anita thinks if she can , in the future , she will choose films which r produced carefully ! That's her thought at heart ...
./.
this is my first time doing the translation . u can believe my trans 85 % :D ... i just want to help and share with all of U

This is the premier of our site so we want your inputs as to how we can improve. Thanx!

I've never seen this pic before...What an interesting discovery creidesca! I can't believe that they really share a lot of chemistry in this pic! They practically look like a real couple...in Innocently, they don't share a single chemistry though...so I was really shock to see that they go so well together. Thanks!

does anyone know? and what series has he been in before? so he and the girl who plays anita's assistant in the series are actors/actress from Singapore right? did they come to HK to film that series? and did Anita really go to Singapore for some of the scenes?
and oh gosh.. I got really really bored when they show the whole episode on her character's grandmother's life as a girl in the past.. gosh that part was so long and boring and got me frustrated as I was only interested in the present. I guess the idea is that Anita needed to know how difficult life was for her grandmother, that's why her father turned out the way he was and stuff.... but I still don't think they had to show that much of her life in that much detail. Because I watched it on tapes, it wasn't that bad.. but if they show it on TV, I think they'd lose the audience that way, they would flip to another channel. I'm sorry but right now I'm hoping to get to the part where her grandmother dies. I know she's gonna die, I'm just not there yet heheh..

I watch the whole set of this movies. Personally, I think it's pretty good movie. It's a very sensitive movie. I kinda agree with you on the grandma part it's kind of bored, but it's very impressive. Not only that, I really like the way Anita perform her role in the movies, I love the part when she told the judge to shut up!!! and all..I stay up very late to watch this movie..I love this movie//this is just my perspective/ I always like lawyer, doctor related movies..This movie is great!!!!

Just wondering if any of you have tried to write to Anita. If so, do you send mail by post, email or what? to where? and what kind of response have you got, if any?
I tried to send Anita an email at anitayuen@stareastnet.com, but it was returned because "recipient exceeded email quota". I don't know how else to write to her other than through this stareast email address. I'm desperate to reach her. A mailing address would be even better as I would love to send her gifts.
What company is Anita filming for at the moment? If so, do you know the address to the company. Perhaps we can reach her at that address. Or could we contact her through ATV? Any of you have tried that?

I might have found a way, tho, I'm not sure if it works
by Grace T
I e-mailed her as well and also got that error back anyways, when I was searching for info on here a long time ago, I came across this site, I'm not sure if it works though.
Thanks for the URL. I'm still not sure how that works though. Are we supposed to pay a service fee, then we can search for addresses of any stars on that site? Because I clicked on Anita Yuen 'search for address', and nothing happened, I was taken back to the original page again. They didn't even ask for money or anything. So I'm not sure if you have to pay the monthly fee to become a member first, then you can 'sign in' and search their database for information? did you try?
Could anyone tell me the mailing address of Stareast? or how you find it? is there a mailing address at their website? it's difficult for me to find it since I don't understand Chinese. thanks.
I think it is a good idea to try to contact her by sending mail to Stareast. Isn't that still her management company?
Posted on Mar 12, 2003, 1:00 PM from IP address 172.194.14.177
I'm pretty sure you need to pay... at the bottom..
by Grace
it says contact any celebrity, click on that, then scroll down and there's a part with all the visa, master card and stuff, credit card stuff, and then a few grey bars, click on which one you want and just follow it...i've never tried cuz i don't have a credit card and my mom won't let me...
well, there's info on her, at this site which is related.. on the side bar, i clicked contact anita and that's what brought me to the site i posted earlier
I am currently watching Innocently Guilty, up to tape 18. I like the series very much so far. To be honest, I've never liked or really rented any series on cops or lawyers etc..., you know those series on different cases to be solved etc.. But this time, Anita is in it, so of course even though it's series on lawyers, I had to rent it. But so far, I really like it. Most of the cases are good and interesting, especially the ones involving Anita's character's mother.
Does anyone know who sings the theme songs? beginning song and ending song? and also, the song about 'mother and child' (I suppose, that's the meaning of the song) that is played when Anita's character reunites with her mother. I like all those 3 songs. Could anyone tell me where I could buy a CD and which CD? Thank you.
and please do not give me any spoilers on this series because I haven't finished watching it. thanks.
Posted on Mar 10, 2003, 4:11 AM from IP address 172.194.231.43
Diff versions have different theme songs...I think u're watching the HK version cos' that should be the original one. I forgot who the singer for the HK one is, but if u're watching the S'pore one, it's Zhao Cai Ling. I think the theme for both versions are very nice...I'll try to check it out for u...
Posted on Mar 10, 2003, 4:54 AM from IP address 192.169.41.35
Sorry! I was trying to d/l it, but I can't find the song anywhere! It's like it had never even existed...by the way, where do u find the HK version? Can u d/l it? Thanks! :D
Posted on Mar 12, 2003, 8:00 AM from IP address 192.169.41.35
I'm really not sure which version, and I wasn't aware there are different theme songs in different versions. I guess the one I'm watching is the HK version?
Anyway, I really like the theme songs, but the main reason is probably because when I listen to these songs, I think of Anita in this series. I'm just so crazy about her at the moment. Would you please let me know how or where I can buy a copy of the CD or VCD of the songs. Thanks.

I just came across the following post by you at spcnet.com: (By the way, I was not aware there was this forum, that is so cool. This Anita Yuen Forum is pretty much all I knew about).
Amy Chan's new album "Still Love You" 2 release 11/28!!....
the album will contain 15 tracks
currently selling at dvdshelf.com for HK$56 US$7.18
t3 is ATV's Innocently Guilty theme
t9 is ATV's Anywhere But Here sub
t10 & t11 are the cantonese theme & sub to The Turbulent Years (drama starring Anita & Amy)
t12 & 13 are the theme & sub to ATV's The Heroine of the Yangs
t14 & t15 are the mandarin version of the theme & sub for The Turbulent Years
ANITA RULES
I was very close to placing my order for this Amy Chan album, but I like to ask you a few questions first.
1. Is there another CD (not by Amy Chan) on ATV theme songs (or any other production theme songs) that also contains this Innocently Guilty theme? if so, which one and where?
If worst comes to worst, I suppose I could order this Amy Chan album. After all, this "Still Love You" CD also has theme songs of another Anita's series "The Turbulent Years"? Although I have no idea what this series is.
2. Where can I find the ending song to Innocently Guilty the HK version, and what about that song "Mama I love you" sung by Maria Cordero?
Posted on Mar 13, 2003, 3:03 PM from IP address 172.192.44.188
if you're from anywhere in the US, buy the album at yesasia.com (shipping and handling is much cheaper) than from dvdshelf
i don't think the songs sung by Maria Cordero are even released
and no, there isn't really any other CD that contains all ATV theme songs, but there are several that is a mix of ATV and TVB or only TVB, and there's some that's non-ATV/TVB theme songs

S$20+. Maybe if your friend is going overseas, you can ask him/her to purchase it for u cos' I think in Asian countries, it might be cheaper...

you don't really need a HK ID (you can make one up), however for the last digit of the HK ID (which is separate from the other part of the HK ID) you'll have to put in the right number (from 0-9) or your vote won't count...so if you put "1" in that area then fill in all the rest of the parts, and when you click to send in your vote, and a small popup sign appears, go change the "1" to a "2"...and keep doing this until it leads you to another page w/ a picture, which means that your vote was casted.
You can vote as many times as you wish, as long as you provide a diff HK ID everytime
remember when voting for the actor/actress, you are to choose 3 actor/actress (a total of 3 altogether)

I checked 15 in the first section and 8 in the second, then I remembered that I needed to pick 3 actors/actresses altogether so I randomly picked 2 others. ( I can't read anything) Then clicked submit, I think, the second one...an error came up, dunno what it said, so I clicked cancel and randomly picked 2 more in the second section. Clicked "submit" and the same error came up. plz help!

Yes I was, it's a long process but here are the steps again, one by one
by Grace T
Go to the website, click on the big pic that comes up which brings you to another screen, this one has many boxes in two sections, in the first section, #15 is Anita. Check her off and two other actors/actresses, then in the second section, check off #8 (Innocently Guilty), #28 (Mr. Winner) and #27 (Monkey King) and then click the left icon at the very bottom, the blue ones with white writing, the left one. That brings you to another page, just check off one circle for each question randomly, it doesn't matter, then again, click the left icon at the bottom when you're all done. The next page that loads, you put in a name (any name ie: LENLEN FAN) the next one has two choices, pick the right one (female) and the left one for male. The next blank is your year of birth (make one up) I think, I can't read Chinese too well, put in two numbers, the next one is your Hong Kong ID, put in any numbers then right next to it is a bracketed area, put in a number from 1-9. Start with 1. Leave the next blank empty, the next one asks for your phone number, put any numbers in there and the last one asks you for your e-mail. The big one lower can be left empty. Click the left icon again. If an error comes up, ( it has a lot of question marks) it will bring you back to the page where you just entered everything. Where you put the 1 in the bracketed space, change it to a 2, click the left icon and keep doing this, so if the error comes up again, change the 2 to a 3. Eventually, you'll find the right number and it brings you to a screen with a big pic, it confirms that you are successful.
Hope this helps!

"When I was young, I followed my mummy to the market wearing slippers. Suddenly, there was a chicken which came flying down from the sky and pecked at my toes." Eversince then, Anita became very scred of chickens. However, she would still consume chicken meat but not the skin.
Miss HK 2002 was interviewed....
Qn:It is the 30th year for the Miss HK pageant. Among all the previous Miss HKs, which one do u admire most?
Her reply(after thinking for a while): Anita Yuen. I feel that she is very generous/natural and has integrity. I hope that I can also be like that in future. Besides, no matter whether she is acting or doing other duties, she gives others the impression that she is very sincere. I hope to let others feel my sincerty.
Why did you end with a cliffhanger!!!! WHAT HAPPENS NEXT???!!!!!!! Chapters 39+40
by Grace T
I'm totally hooked, what happens next?!! Could you give a little preview? Anyways, here's chapter 39 and 40
Chapter 39
Apples
¡§Fine!¡¨ Xie yelled after him. ¡§I don¡¦t need you guys anyways!¡¨ He makes a pout and turns to look at the guard at the door.
¡§What are you looking at?¡¨ he angrily snapped, walking over to the guard, who was standing perfectly still.
Xie approached the guard and stood right in front of him. Ever so slowly, he raised his eyes up to the tall guard.
¡§When I am emperor, you¡¦ll be sorry,¡¨ Xie said defiantly, then walked away.
It was almost six now, and the sun has already made its way partially behind the mountains. Gai Gong Gong had left about ten minutes ago but had yet to return.
Wing Yi¡¦s eyelids fluttered momentarily, before she could recognize that she was in her room. Everything seemed so quiet as she tries to clear her head. Not until she tried to get up did she realized that her knees and elbows were all bandaged up.
¡§Gai Gong Gong?¡¨ Wing Yi said feebly, gingerly lifting her arms out of the covers and grimacing every time she moved.
No one answered.
Just getting out of the covers took her about a minute. And now she had to get on her feet. Wing Yi was surprised that she could still stand up amazingly well. Now standing up, Wing Yi quickly noticed that her pants were torn at the knees and her shirt was torn at the elbows. The clothes still had remnants of dirt, so she decided to change into her other pair of clothing. The whole process was very painful and not to mention, painstakingly slow.
Just as she finished with the last button, she is struck with an awful thought.
¡§Gai Gong Gong is probably being punished for my clumsiness,¡¨ Wing Yi thought in alarm. ¡§That¡¦s why he isn¡¦t here!¡¨ She dashed out of the room as fast as her legs would allow her. The pain that she had felt just a moment earlier had vanished as her thoughts were engulfed by paralyzing fear.
¡§I have to find him,?Wing Yi kept repeating to herself, as she made it out of the quarter¡¦s door and into the corridors. Once outside, she stands dazed as she looks at the corridor to her left and to her right. Wing Yi had no earthly idea where Gai Gong Gong is or could be, but she knew that she had to find him no matter what.
¡§I am sorry, I am sorry.¡¨ she said over and over again.
Standing there wasn¡¦t going to get her anywhere, so she quickly decided to take the left corridors.
¡§I haven¡¦t gone over there before and maybe that¡¦s where Gai Gong Gong is.¡¨ Wing Yi tried to calm herself.
She literally blazed down the winding corridors, dragging one leg in front of the other. Wherever there was a path, she continued on walking aimlessly. At the next corner, Wing Yi saw the skinny eunuch that had gone on the hunting expedition with her. However, he didn¡¦t seem to notice her as he sped past her.
¡§You!¡¨ Wing Yi tried to call out, noticing that his baldhead was covered with long strings of noodles.
Before she could say anything more, the skinny eunuch was out of sight.
¡§What¡¦s up with him?¡¨ she pondered in puzzlement.
¡§Oh well,?Wing Yi said, determined to continue. ¡§I have to find Gai Gong Gong and fast!¡¨ Without further delay, she continued down the long corridor. Before turning yet another corner, Wing Yi could make out a distinctive noise. It sounded like people were running about and furniture being knocked over. As usual, her curiosity settled in once more, and she began to quicken her strides. As she gets closer and closer, the noise became louder and louder. The door of one of the quarters was wide open- very unusual for people here who always have their doors tightly sealed. There was now also the sound of a girl crying from within.
As Wing Yi approached the entrance from the side, a young maiden ran out crying. Her delicate features were smeared with black ink, she raises her handkerchief to hide it as she ran pass Wing Yi.
¡§Come back!¡¨ a voice from inside yelled.
Wing Yi immediately realized that she did not want to get in another mess and so turned quickly to leave. As she was about to quickly leave the scene, a hand roughly grabbed her right wrist and pulled her in the room.
¡§You¡¦ll have to do.¡¨ the voice said with a snicker.
Wing Yi was too frightened to know what to do except say, ¡§What do you want with me?¡¨
¡§Stupid maid.¡¨ He mumbled, going over to light the candle that was evidently knocked off a few minutes ago.
As he lit the candle, the light quickly revealed the chaotic room. The teapots were knocked on the ground. The chairs were indeed tossed to the other end of the room along with a variety of small objects. But the light did quickly reveal a bow wrapped around his body. As he turned around, Wing Yi could see that he was only about her age or younger. He had a smirk on his face as he turns around to see who his next victim was.
¡§Who are you, and what do you want?¡¨ Wing Yi said defiantly, now realizing he was only a boy.
¡§You don¡¦t know me?¡¨ Xie said, raising his left eyebrow. ¡§Hymph, how could you possibly not know?¡¨ As he walks around her, he said, ¡§I am the fifth prince.¡¨
¡§You, a prince?¡¨ Wing Yi said with a sarcastic tone, looking around the room at the debris.
¡§Yeah, I am.¡¨ he said arrogantly as he stood face to face with her.
Wing Yi was actually three inches taller than him. ¡§So, what do you want?¡¨
¡§Oh, nothing.¡¨ he said slowly, in a menacing tone. ¡§I just need a someone to play with me.¡¨
¡§So that maid was one of your many playmates?¡¨ Wing Yi pointed out bluntly.
¡§Of course!¡¨ Xie replied quickly, giggling as he recounts the ink on her face. ¡§And guess what? You are now going to have to be my new best friend. We are going to have the best of times.¡¨ Wing Yi knew that she wasn¡¦t going to get out of this one so easily. She had gone out to search for Gai Gong Gong and help him but now it seems that she would need to be rescued.
Leaving her to stand in the middle of the living room, he goes to the other end and retrieved a red shining apple. As he walked towards Wing Yi, he tossed the apple in the air several times and laughed.
¡§Let's play shoot the apple?¡¨ he asked with a twinkle in his eyes.
Wing Yi said nothing as she tries to figure out how she could get away but not create more trouble for Gai Gong Gong.
¡§Here,¡¨ he said, handing her the apple. ¡§Go over there with it.¡¨
Wing Yi took the apple reluctantly but stood still.
¡§Fine¡¨ she said smiling. ¡§I go.¡¨
¡§Okay, you stand right here and put the apple on your head.¡¨
¡§What?!¡¨ Wing Yi cried out in shock. ¡§You want me to put the apple on my head so you can shoot it with your arrow?¡¨
Back at Gai Gong Gong's quarters, Gai Gong Gong smiles warmly as he goes to open the door to Wing Yi¡¦s room. ¡§She¡¦s probably still resting.¡¨ he said to himself, as he opens the door only to find her missing.
Chapter 40
The Worms
¡§Wing Yi, Wing Yi?!¡¨ Gai Gong Gong repeatedly called out as he rushes out of the bedroom. He searched the back rooms and yet there were still no signs of her anywhere. His mind is racing with a plethora of thoughts as he quickly goes out the door. When he opened it, he found Tieu Ceuk Tu raising his hands to knock on the wooden door.
Ceuk, his hands suspended in midair, was taken by surprise when the door instantly flew open. Ceuk¡¦s right hand was holding a trayful of food. Luckily for him, Gai Gong Gong was just in time to help him stabilize the tray.
¡§Gai Gong Gong,¡¨ Ceuk began, looking at him and then at the room with a concerned and bewildered face. ¡§What¡¦s wrong? Is something wrong with Tieu Wing Tu?¡¨
Gai Gong Gong uttered, frantically looking every which way. ¡§I don¡¦t know. I expected him to be resting but he¡¦s gone!¡¨
¡§How could that be?¡¨ Ceuk said in disbelief. ¡§With all the bruises and¡K¡¨
His voice trailed off as he looked to Gai Gong Gong for some remote answers.
Gai Gong Gong shook his head and said slowly, ¡§I just don¡¦t know. Why has he wandered off and in such conditions?¡¨
¡§Gai Gong Gong,¡¨ Ceuk offered, leading Gai Gong Gong back into the room. ¡§Let¡¦s sit down first and think this over.¡¨
¡§No,¡¨ Gai Gong Gong resisted, looking off into the distance. ¡§We can¡¦t wait not like last time. I have to find him, before it is too late.¡¨
¡§But¡K¡¨ Ceuk urged on.
Gai Gong Gong raises his right hand to stop his utterance and firmly stated, ¡§We must look around. I¡¦ll take the corridors to the right and you take the corridors to the left.¡¨
¡§Yes sir.¡¨ Ceuk reluctantly gave in with a sad smile.
¡§I pray that we find him soon. He is too weak and might very well passed out on the ground.¡¨ Gai Gong Gong said in a harsh voice, determination blazing in his eyes. ¡§We will meet back here in fifteen minutes.¡¨ Ceuk nodded quickly and then hastily walked out of the room and into the corridor.
Gai Gong Gong took no time before he rushed out and head in the opposite direction.
¡§No!¡¨ Wing Yi screamed out, tossing the shiny red apple across the room but reeling back from the pain in her right elbow. ¡§Let me out!¡¨
¡§Now, now.¡¨ Xie said menacingly, walking over to Wing Yi. ¡§You just wasted a perfectly good apple. Servants like you would never have the chance to eat such delicious fruits. Am I right? Now be a good eunuch and put this apple on your head.¡¨ He handed her another apple, but she only looked at him in contempt.
Seeing her so stubborn and hardheaded, so unlikely from previous servants, he was actually beginning to enjoy this little game.
He raises the apple to her eye level, and Wing Yi gasped instantly. The apple was rotten to the core. There were three or four worms visible in it, and the stench was no less revolting than its appearance.
¡§See?¡¨ he said with a big smile. ¡§Either you put it on your head, or you¡¦ll have to eat it. I am giving you the option to choose your fate.¡¨ Wing Yi looks at him in absolute disgust, but her eyes kept returning to the apple that he held in his hands.
¡§Any day now.¡¨ Xie said in childish frustration.
¡§Fine!¡¨ Wing Yi finally spoke up, reaching for the apple.
Xie¡¦s eyes gleamed in anticipation of seeing the eunuch swallow the apple, but after he saw that Wing Yi had placed it on her head, his smile died down a bit.
Still, all in all, he was going to shoot an arrow at her.
¡§Very well.¡¨ he said with a smile nonetheless. ¡§Stand still. And don¡¦t worry, I am very good at aiming. I shoot a deer just earlier today.¡¨ Wing Yi shudders at the thought as she recounts the events that had transpired earlier today.
¡§Okay,¡¨ Xie said happily, raising his bow and then pulling out a pointed arrow.
Wing Yi slowly closes her eyes and awaited her fate.
He pulled back and prepared to let the arrow go when the door bursted open.
¡§Xie!¡¨ Enjun shouted at him, Wen Zhuo appearing from behind.
Xie was so surprised that he lets the arrow fly. Wing Yi, who had been closing her eyes, opened them immediately when she heard Enjun¡¦s voice just in time to see Xie letting the arrow go. In a split second, Wing Yi ducked down and the arrow landed right where her head would have been.
¡§What in the world are you doing?¡¨ Enjun began to interrogate. Both Enjun and Wen Zhuo were looking at Wing Yi, curling up on the floor.
Enjun came up to his brother, ¡§What is all this?¡¨ Enjun then looks toward Wen Zhuo, giving him the signal to help Wing Yi.
¡§I was just having a little fun, that¡¦s all.¡¨ Xie tried to defend himself, making a pout. ¡§It is all your fault anyways! You guys left me here by myself, and I got bored.¡¨
¡§Fine.¡¨ Enjun gave in. ¡§Well, we did buy you something while we were gone but now I am not so sure you deserve it.¡¨
¡§I am sorry brother.¡¨ Xie pleaded, shedding some fake tears. ¡§I was just lonely.
Please forgive me please!¡¨
Enjun looks at him for a moment and then finally gives in. ¡§Okay, promise you won¡¦t mess up the room and play such dangerous games with the servants.¡¨
¡§I promise.¡¨ Xie quickly proclaimed, wiping back his tears. ¡§Can I get my present now?¡¨ Enjun then looks over to Wen Zhuo who was helping Wing Yi up. Wen Zhuo nodded.
¡§Alright.¡¨ Enjun said to Xie, who was jumping up and down now. ¡§Let¡¦s go then.¡¨ The two brothers left Wen Zhuo and Wing Yi behind.
¡§Are you alright?¡¨ he offered, helping her stand up.
Wing Yi makes a contorted face as she tries to stand up. All that walking before now starting to take its full effect. Her knees felt like knives were jabbing at it.
Wen Zhuo saw the pain in her face and tried his best to ease the pain.
¡§Thank you.¡¨ Wing Yi managed to say through her clinched teeth as she now stood up straight.
¡§Oh,¡¨ Wen Zhuo replied, looking at her and realizing that he had seen this eunuch before. ¡§No problem at all. Um don¡¦t I know you?¡¨

Done with chapters 39 and 40! bravo!
Well, I really can't give a sneak preview because I myself I have not thought out the next chapter. Is it weird that even I am not sure of the story? When I write on the weekends, I tend to formulate the story as I go along. I only know the broad scope, but the incidents comes when I am actually typing up the chapter. That's why I am afraid my chapters were unconvincing.
Okay, I can't give you the preview for the next chapter, but I can say that I am in the process of creating my very own website that will have the fanfic on it plus posters and many more. It is called OMNIBUS. When it is done, I will give you the offical website link. I would love it if you come visit it when it is finally done. OBTW, the edited version will be on the website!

So then I can't wait till this weekend! and I would love to visit that OMNIBUS website. You change your posties' every so often. It's just like my wallpaper on my desktop. I have to change it to another Anita wallpaper like every week. My family gets frustrated with me for one having one (they claim it takes up too much memory, but I think it's my document's on Anita) and two for changing it every week!
Just a few pointers (in MY opinion, you don't have to use it)
- why was the masked man following Li MaMa and Wing Yi?
- What about Wing Yi's Father?
- Will Siu Chun and Madame Ling reappear in the story?
- What about the sword that Li MaMa promised Wing Yi's mom to give to the child?
Just a few things that have occupied my mind for a while.
You don't have to include them in your story though, It's your choice!

Hey,
Your questions are very valid and helpful. Thanks for bringing them to my attention. I almost forgot about some, but don't worry, I will incorporate them into my plot. I can say that Siu Chun will definitely reappear...the exact timing is under works. Sorry I can't answer all your questions now since they will be reveal later on.
About the wallpapers, I have the same problem too. Memory space is very limited, since now I am also save my webpage works on it.
Anyways, thanx for the suggestions! And thanx again for being one of my few readers. Keep reading!

This is sooo exciting! Thanks a lot mariska!!! I'm not sure whether I got the content right, I just scanned through the article cos' I have to study for 2 tests tomorrow...debbie or whoever, could u confirm this? Thanks! I think Anita's going to enter the movie industry again! Yippee! She is going to film a movie with Francis Ng!!! They're playing a couple who has been married for 7yrs. Anita says that when she first got the script, her hands were shivering. As she hasn't filmed a movie for quite some time, she is quite unfamiliar with the filming process....I gotta go! Thanks mariska! This is such good news! :p

WOW! Can't wait for it 2 come out. It's been so long since I saw her last movie. Don't have 2 wait for those series 2 come out man~, like it's so hard 2 get my hands on them over here.
Anyone remember what was the last film (not TV ones) she acted in? Was it 'Til Death Do Us Part'? (pls correct me if i'm wrong)

Till death do us part was a 1997/8 movie. I think her last one was Don't Look Back or U'll Be Sorry in 2000. If u include Dragon Heat(2001) which was filmed for a charitable purpose in which she probably appeared for a few secs, that would be her last movie....but I consider Don't look Back as her last one. Where r u from? Smile always!

hey, i'm new here! I just finished "innocently guilty"...haven't seen her in a good series for a long time. but then i haven't seen her work for quite a while. i haven't followed her work besides anything that gotta do with tvb or movies. so any production in china, taiwan, or any or other places is new to me. it's just pretty annoying to see dubbing...i was wondering if mulan is good...do you tihnk they have it in cantonese? i remember last yr it was on cable in NY, but in mandarin which i don't understand.

I watched the mandarin version of Mulan and I'm also cantonese but I sorta learned mandarin from it.
It's a really good series in my opinion. I haven't seen the cantonese version but it should be the same... If you don't get the cantonese version, you could get the mandarin one and read the transcripts at
www.dreamdragon.fanspace.com
It has all the episodes translated into english
Enjoy!

MULAN is the best! It's not only my most favorite Anita's series, but also my #1 series of all time. I would not hesitate to strongly recommend it to anyone. Mulan's character in itself is a very interesting story. and the plot in this Yang Pei Pei's production was excellent. Zhao Wen Zhou was excellent in this performance, his character fit him perfectly. it's an ancient series, so not so much touching or anything, but Zhao and Anita still had great on-screen chemistry. Anita played her role superbly.. and Suen Hing is hilarious.
besides, I would recommend State of Divinity also. Anita is very pretty in here, in my opinion. her role is very elegant. The original story is great, Ying Ying's character should be very unique. but in general, I didn't like Yang Pei Pei's twisted adaptations so much.

wow, thankx for replying back...i didn't know it's so informative in this forun. thankx alot for the info...i guess i'm missing alot, huh? i will try to see mulan, but in cantonese not in mandarin cuz i'm not even that great in cantonese, especially in the costumes series...they talk differently sometimes. ahh, wouldn't it be nice if it's in english too...well, i'm dreaming...but again thank you!

I LOVE Mulan. It's also my favourite series. Hell, it's the first movie/series I've seen of Anita. It's what hooked me into liking her performance.
I'm still watching State of Divinity, so far so good! But there are too many characters that only appear like once and have no meaning. Anyways, those two are a definite have to watch!
