This is so disappointing...Anita actually smokes! I dunno, but the mag in which Ch8 produces said she does...n i seriously don't think it's rumours or they created it cos' Ch8 wouldn't do that. Don't you be so sad because of one of her un-perfect qualities. After all, she is still a human being, a normal one. She ain't different from all of us. The only difference between her and us is the attention. She attracts people's attention and we don't. That's it.
We love her because the way she acts, talks, and lives a life not because we think she is perfect. There are many other perfect ones for us to look at for instance, Gods, Buddhas, ect...
She is my idle, and she is a smoker. I don't smoke. However, the truth doesn't stop me from loving my idle. Come on ! forget the minor, think big !

I'll rewatch my tape in which Anita appeared on a variety show in S'pore n tell u guys more...As far as I remember, that Terence Cao actor is VERY irritating...he is relatively popular though, but as far as I know, lotsa pple hate him 2. He kept on sucking up to Anita n he KEPT ON trying to steal the limelight from her. When she n Edmund Chen were conversing 2 each other(in a very funny way), he was told them(seriously) whether they're done making love n stuff. Then he went on babbling 'bout himself even b4 they responded! Ok fine, I know I'm quite bias, but he's really sickening! Acts macho n everything...extremely hypocritical. Yvonne is really nice though...but not very pretty. Really small actress here. Anita is still the best! She attracted DAMN big crowds of audiences! Trust me! It was really funny the way she everyone was snatching to take a photo wif her when she gave out Christmas sweets to the audience. It was hilarious cos' only she received such attention while the other S'pore artistes totally didn't! 2 fans went to (if I remember correctly) Edmund Chen for his autograph...besides that, the other artistes didn't attract anyone. Gosh! anita practically emptied like half the audience n the hosts were continually calling her back 2 stage. It was quite bias in a way cos' the other artistes were allowed 2 continue giving out sweets while she wasn't. maybe it's cos' she attract such a big crowd! Man, I should hav gotten tickets for that show! Anita's really funny...I'll tell u more 2morrow...Smile always!

I'm back! I juz got home like 1 sec ago...It's like 12 midnite now...Sorry, I haven't caught up with the latest news on Anita in S'pore yet...But I'll tell u more 2morrow...I haven't bathe yet. I was EXTREMELY lucky! I kept thinking 'bout how I would not be able to catch up on Anita stuff n everything in HK. My god! I was REALLY, REALLY lucky! N I mean EXTREMELY! At the MTR stations there, I saw like a million Anita Ads. It's all the same, but it was still contenting seeing them. She looks really pretty in there. She was advertising for some facial product called HealthPlus. Yup, n in the plane, I didn't watch any show n when I turned it on, I actually managed to catch Whazzzup! I was like so delighted! The show had juz started 2! By the way, did anyone watch Whazzzup? Call me mad, but I was so excited to see the central building in HK...It was featured in Whazzzup, n I was like so happy to know that Anita had went there b4. Ok fine, I'm really crazy. N when I got back 2 my hotel n switched on the TV, they were actually repeating Thank You Grandpa! N at 8pm, there was Mr Winner. Too bad I missed Fa NeiQing, but it's coming 2 S'pore anyway. I feel like I’ve been zapped into the movie He’s A Woman, She’s A Man that made her famous. There she is, the wafer-thin 31-year-old staring at you with her plate-size orbs at the press conference for Singapore-Hong Kong collaboration Innocently Guilty, wearing her signature short mop and jeans. We act quickly to find out more about Anita Yuen other than her gender-bending ability for we know the former Miss Hong Kong 1990 doesn’t mince her words...
Nice to look at, but once she’s pissed, back off!
When it comes to co-stars who don’t have the habit of reading up their scripts beforehand and people who don’t turn off their mobile phones during filming, Anita does not show any mercy. “If we’re shooting a serious or emotional scene, and your phone rings, I’ll be the 1st to come after you with a chopper!”
Latecomers irk the professional actress too, who just wants “everyone to respect their work”. Sarcasm appears to be her preferred way of making her displeasure known for she once mouthed these acerbic words – “ Didn’t know your contract says you can be late, If I knew, I would sign the same contract too!”

She likes Edmund Chen...
Although viewers will not be seeing Anita puckering up with homegrown Mr Pinky-cheeks, she assures us that they look convincing as lovers. “I feel that you don’t really have to have intimate scenes to tell the whole world this is a couple. We didn’t know each other before but I think we act very well like a couple!”
The chemistry they share is largely due to Edmund’s humility and friendliness (And maybe those cheeks that scream ‘love me!’). “He gave me a very good 1st impression so when you already like someone, you won’t have much difficulty playing lovers. And he’s always making me laugh on the set by saying something totally ‘wu liao’ (nonsensical)!”
Perhaps the fact that his frequent talk about his family strikes the right chords too. “He’ll always tell me about his wife and children so when I see him with other women, I’ll tell these women that he’s taken! So he jokingly says I’m spoiling his chances. I think I should meet his wife, after all, I help her keep an eye on her husband! Ha...”

And indeed, I was just telling Yvonne that some people in HK have already asked me who she is. They say she did a good job.”

So do the Hong Kongers think Yvonne is pretty too? “She? Yes, but I’ve edited it!” (Laugh) You 2 are like sisters, so who’s the younger one here? “Of course it’s Yvonne! Sorry folks, we cannot verify that but we do know that Yvonne has a bigger appetite. “Yvonne made me eat so much in my 3 weeks stay here that I almost had a phobia of Singapore! I thought I could “take revenge” when she came over to HK, but she couldn’t be found! I think she has more friends than I have in HK!”
She digs durians and cereal prawns...
Despite complaints that her “few days” stay here “already made her felt that her face was getting rounder”, 2 local dishes never fail to make her forget about her non-existent double chins! “I love the durians here because in HK we usually buy them home but here, you can eat them at the roadside stalls. That feeling is very good! And those cereal prawns, they’re delicious!”
Finger-licking grubs aside, there are certain “laws” that leng leng (Anita’s nick which means pretty in Cantonese) feels she would not be suitable for Singapore. “Someone told me I can’t talk too loudly in Singapore. (When told she won’t get a fine for that) Then I’ll get the rotan? They also told me I can’t consume chewing gum and can’t smoke. Frankly speaking, I’d definitely be the 1st one to get caught!”

Hiya, i regularly go to Chilam's forum. There are some people who don't think they should be together, but true fans support the actor/actress decisions. It doesn't matter what anyone thinks. I love both Anita and Charmaine, but ANITA AND CHILAM rules.

Do u wanna know more about how to play the game or how Anita and Chilam presented themselves and told about their love life? i dunno, so I'll just tell u abit of each...There will be 3 couples who would be invited on the show n they would talk about their relationship with the hosts n their opinion of the other party n stuff like that. Then they would play this Love Game n Anita and Chilam scored full marks in that game while the other to teams scored 43/60 n 36/60 respectively. Then the winners have to undergo another level in which one of them read some clues while the other one memorises it n tries to open a safety deposit box. Chilam was the one opening it cos' Anita said she can't really tell the diff between left n right. It was Anita who first started to date Chilam. She treated him to a meal. Anita said that there were a lot of pple at that time but Chilam told her "Who says there was alot! Only me,u n ur assistant!" N Anita was like, "Ya la! Fine! U're right ok?(It was really funny)" Then she went on babbling that during the whole meal, she just kept on looking at Chilam n that they had fallen in love with each other. However, they didn't kiss because her assistant was there. Later, Chilam invited Anita on a dinner date n during the whole meal, both parties didn't speak a word because they felt very shy in a way. During the meal, Chilam kept on turning his head to show Anita his most handsome look n Anita just stared at him. later, when they went to get the car at Tsim Sha Tsui(I dunno whether I spelt it correctly), they realise that they couldn't get out of the parking lot. Here's a bit more...sorry!
Their most memorable hols was when they went Australia 2gether. They visited a Topless beach n Anita just took off her clothes there n tanned herself in the sun with Chilam. The funny thing was that no one actually noticed that she was a female!
Both Chilam n Anita would call each other everyday. So the host asked if teir phone bill was very high. Both of them then said, "nope, we just call n say,'Have u died' n then put down the phone." The best part was that they did it synchronically!!! They just tell each other whether they're alright n then put down the phone.
When asked whether anita would specially dress nicely when on a date...
Anita: I would choose some of my better-looking clothes
Chilam: At first, when we just started out, I felt that she wasvery pretty n it didn't matter what she wore.
Anita(turned to Chilam n said fiercely): How about now?
Chilam acted really timid...it's really funny

All along in the entertainment circle, lovers do not want to appear as screen lovers because it is believed that they would break up after that. The producer usually has Esther Kwan acting as the opposite party. However, due to the fact that the main character in this show is Zhang Jiahui, thus, Esther Kwan's name was not on the list. However, it was Anita who had underwent acting as "lovers on screen" together with Chilam. When filming just started and Zhang Jiahui had already missed his g/f terribly, Anita teased him, "This sort of thing cannot be accurate by just listening to what others say. As for me, I've had the experience and lovers really shouldn't film together. In this way, you'll not regret it!"
"Zui" has already started filming for a period of time and as the weather was turning chiilly, everyone hopes to complete filming it as soon as possible. Thus, they filmed non-stop, even at night. Chilam and Anita are in different places filming. Even though it takes only 4 hrs to travel by car to meet each other, both of them are unable to make time for each other. In "Zui", Anita plays an unreasonable and wild girlfriend of Zhang Jiahui, with a very fierce character. In the first episode, she caused him to become a runaway groom.
As for being very used to acting as a fierce girlfriend, Anita hurriedly defends, "When I am dating, I'm not like that. Everyone is clear of that. It's just that the script requires me to act like that. I'm not fierced, I'm just straightforward!"

This is so infuriating...If I guess correctly, she MIGHT be here for the promotion of Fa Nei Qing n I am actually going 2 HK this Sat! i understand your pain. when i was in singapore and i went crazy over her after i watched her performance in 'he's a woman, she's a man' , there just didn't seem to be any anita yuen action in singapore. only in hong kong, then in taiwan after mulan! so infuriating! esp since i don't have scv. :P

Up till now, the thing I am proudest of is my boyfriend – Chilam.
He works very hard yet, silently and never does complain. This is the quality in which I admire most. Perhaps he just lacks a little luck…
He is extremely filial. I have never seen anyone who is so filial. He is not only filial to his parents, but also to his elders. In this area, I should really learn from him.
Chilam is very kind and pleasant. Anyone who has interacted with him would quickly fall for him. Then, they would just ignore me. In my eyes, his good qualities are multitudinous. The only bad thing in him is that he is not sensitive and caring enough. However, this is something that all men have, therefore, I do not mind. I deeply believe that it is my greatest fortune to be able to be his girlfriend.
It is because he is a good man that I believe that he would receive kindness in return. The person he loves is I; thus, I would give up everything in order to make him happy.
I do not mind publicising my love for him because being able to love him is my good fortune.
In the future, he would definitely have happiness, a perfect family, a good wife and a pair of filial children because I would be by his side.
Although we have known each other for 10 years and gone through many storms together, I feel that it is like we were only introduced to each other last year. This warmth and freshness is something that would last forever.
Do not ask us when we will marry because it is not important. The important thing is that Chilam is by my side. He is my boyfriend and being able to have him is something that I would not regret...
I gotta know tis before Wed...Does anyone know any Chilam or Anita forums with any Singaporeans? Both of them are appearing on About Romance this Wed...Could anyone tell me the forum URLs so that I could pass this round? Thanks!

Anita never tells a lie..
She says that at first when she dated him,, she was just joking... dating him for fun.. but gradually.. her friends liked him more and more and always stood on his side for a lot of things. At first when they were together.. it felt like all tense.. one of them was a tiger and the other was a lamb. But now she says that she dosen't feel that way anymore.
Chilam says taht the thing that she did that touched him a lot was two years ago, they were mad at eachtoehr, but Anita opened a tiny concert and she suddenly told everone.. I know that explaining doesn't do anything so I'm going to sing my apology. CHilam was so touched and he was also surprised that she knew that he was still mad. Chilam says that the thing that he likes best about her is that she's real... very true.. never tells lies. And one more thing that touches him is when she watches his movies and cry at it. Even though its somewhat wierd. he thinks its cute....
They won't get married just becuase they have a child...
Chilam acts like a brother or father to anita so thats what she calls him sometimes.. ANywy anita says that even when chilam gets a BIG vacation home.. he doesn't spend any time with her.. he spends all the time with three of his other friends... and they drink together, play mah jong, play cards, talk,and they would forget about everything.. at first she was realy mad.. but then she found out that the oher three friends also got mad at by their wives.
Anita wants to have a child by next year... and was asked... are you going to have a child on purpose so it comes faster? and chilam exclaims "WHAT? \WE HAVEN"T EVEN DONE IT YET!!!!! We were just really close friends for ten years and she wakes me up every morning.!" The Anita says... we will not get married just becuase we have a child.
comment: this is so wierd.... and chilam that big fat meanie! just ask her to marry him! he is so annoying! and no offense or anything....

Oh yup, the mini concert was by Chilam...not Anita...and it was Anita who was touched by Chilam...I really love the part which mentioned that they would race to see whoever succeeded in memorising their scripts first. since Project Ji Xiang will likely get release next week...and it should b another 15 tapes in viet, so take about 4 weeks 4 the whole series to be released...by that time it would already be in January...and hopefully they won't release any other ATV bought productions w/ the ATV label under them...if that were to happen, the wait can b longer

As for this problem, Anita feels,” The problem lies entirely with me! It’s because I am too straightforward. Furthermore, I am someone who speaks before I think about what to say. I would just speak my mind. Actually, if I were willing to spend a few seconds pondering about what I have to say, the effect would be very different. I’ve thought about changing, but no matter how hard I try, I am unable to succeed! That’s why I would try to keep my mouth shut when I am in the presence of people whom I am unfamiliar with. The chances of making mistakes are lower when I speak lesser.“
When Ah Len first started her career, she received the “Best Newcomer Award” and became a movie queen. In the following year, she was even more successful. With such sudden fame, was it a disaster or fortune to the only 22-year-old Ah Len? Anita replied, “ To me, it is a mixture of good and bad as winning the award did help to boost my self-esteem. Since entering showbiz, I have always hoped for fame and achievement. However, both of them were unbalanced because I had signed several contracts before entering the movies. Thus, it meant that even though I am a movie queen, my payment remains the same. Of course, such a situation was only transient. Initially when I entered the entertainment industry, I had looked forward to winning the ‘Best Newcomer Award’. Following that, I had aimed for the ‘Best Supporting Actress Award’ and then strive to become a movie queen after being in the circle for quite some time. Even though the accomplishments I had at the start of my acting career are indeed worthy to rejoice for, the pressure I faced was much greater than before. It was because the expectations others had of me suddenly became extremely high. They concluded that I would be able to handle any role that was entrusted to me. When I did not perform well enough or met with several difficulties and inquired about them, they would then ask me, ‘ What? As a movie queen, how can you not understand?’ At that time, I thought to myself, ‘I can’t understand means I can’t understand. What has this got to do with being a movie queen?’ Furthermore, I was only in my twenties at that time. What do you expect me to do?”
Interview topic 3: Marriage
Ah Len had hoped to marry before turning thirty. However, she is already 32 years and yet, unmarried. When would she actually have a ‘happy ending’ with Chilam? This has certainly become the targeted topic during interviews with Ah Len! Chuckling, Ah Len states, “ When I was a teenager, I planned to marry before turning 22. When I was really 22 years old, I then thought that I should get married before becoming 26. And when I was 26, I told myself that it was a must for me to marry before 30. Now, I keep telling my boyfriend that I really hope to build a family. However, I would push all matters aside once a call asking me to start work comes. Right now, I plan to get marry before the age of 35.”
Having a heavy workload is just an excuse. Is it after being used to dating for so long, they have lost interest in marriage? Anita firmly refutes, “It’s just that there has been no special reason for me to proceed on with wedding arrangements. My mummy keeps pressing me to get married. I then tell her that even if I do get married, I would want to keep it very simple. At the most, we would just have a family dinner. Upon hearing this, my mother has then stopped asking me about my marriage.”
There are so many enticements in the entertainment circle. Does Ah Len really trust Chilam so much? Anita mischievously answers, “Hey! You’re wrong there! Actually, you can’t worry too much in a relationship. If he wants to change, he would still change in the end. A woman’s feelings are the strongest. If my boyfriend’s feelings towards me have changed, I should be the first one to sense it! All these years, he has seen a lot of attractive ladies. However, I have never felt that he has changed! It’s not that I trust him. I just trust my own feelings! :p

I tried opening them on my com n they do work...
Anyway, try this:
if u're using Internet Explorer, right click on the image(even though u can't see it), n go to properties. Then u will get this window which tells u about the pic n the address it was gotten from. Copy n paste the URL over to a new window n then press go. If u still can't c the image, press refresh. U should be able to c them. Sorry, I know its a bit slower(going one by one), but at least there is a higher chance to view the images.
