No matter how many rumors chilam had in the past, lenlen never felt that there was a third party in their relationship. Besides that, lenlen had never wanted to reveal their secret wedding to the public, which took place in America, and only 4 people were present at that time.
Interviewer: How long did you date chilam before you lived together with him?
Anita: It happened very fast, actually when I entered the entertainment industry, I was already living by myself, so Chilam just moved into my place. At first we weren't very used to it, but gradually we felt comfortable being in each other's company.
After staying with him, how long did it take you to decide that you wanted to get married?
Actually I suggested the idea to him very early in our relationship, so in 1998, he told me this," Right now, I don't think my career is well established enough to provide for you comfortably and to support you to the best of my abilities, so please give me more time." After he said that to me, I knew that getting married wasn't important to me anymore, because I realised that this guy is not like other guys who get married for the sake of it, he wants to plan for our future, and true enough, he did it!

In 2001. (Was it Chilam who suggested it?) He felt that it was time, so he said," Why don't we choose a place to get married?" So I agreed, and he said," Not in HK though."
(He did this to avoid all the papparazzi.) Yes. (So where did you get married?) In America. (Was it in Las Vegas?) No, it was in a small chapel in San Franciso. It was what I wanted, I've always been afraid of wearing wedding gowns, and I didn't want to make a big hoo-haa out of it, I also didn't want to trouble my friends. I felt that it should be a quiet affair, so there was only 4 people present.(Only 4?) The priest was there, and a friend from outside the entertainment circle. (So lowkey?) Haha, yes. (So where did Chilam buy your wedding ring from?) Oh, it is branded of course, I made sure. Haha!
Did you and chilam book the place and prepare the ring beforehand?
We first went to Las Vegas to gamble, then we headed to San Franciso to get married, then we went back to Las Vegas to gamble and when we arrived back in HK, we pretended as if nothing had happened.
Since you were already married, why did you still keep it a secret?
Hmmm, how do I explain it? Actually it was more of a supersticious affair. It went something like this...since it was the "lucky" time of the year, why not get married? Since the priest was available, why not grab this opportunity? So, since we've already been married for so long, why bother to reveal it?
There were a lot of reports saying that Chilam often feuquented pubs and massage areas.
He only went to massage areas about twice, once was because Chingmy Yau invited him to come along, but actually he does not really enjoy going for massages. He told me about it before he went for the massage, but the next day reports and pictures of him going to the massage centre was splashed on the newspapers, the reporters also told me that particular massage centre offered "special services". So I told them to give me proof, anyway I didn't have anything to say. At that time I was in Thailand, so he went to see me, that was correct. I felt that he was also very sensible because he told me this," At least now I go to the pub when im young, if I do that when im old, won't you be even more hurt?" Actually its good that the pictures were taken, so now at least he doesn't go anymore!
If chilam had extra-marital affairs, would you forgive him?
Of course not! He'd better not let me find out! I'd always tell him that its okay to have fun with girls, but don't be too intimate at the expense of my happiness. Actually, I've been in the entertainment industry for so long now, and I've met many so called "good guys". I feel that if you always tell your guy not to do this, or you can't do that, he'll be thinking why not? So thats why I feel that if you want to play, its best not to let me know, and when you play, you must also know your limits.

Anita went out with Chilam to eat supper, thoroughly enjoying their time together. As the reporters were snooping around their newly bought mini cooper car, so chilam jokingly asked them if they could watch over his car, while they went to have supper. Anita then continued by asking chilam if he had paid the reporters any money for helping to watch over the car. There were a few bumper stickers(above picture) that were pasted by chilam and lenlen that read "baby on board", "be careful BB on board".

Apart from being honest and frank and truthful, I think she is very wise. Now that everything is in the open, she does not have to fear of blackmail or anything like that. It takes courage to admit one's mistakes. She did that. Now she can get on with her life. I admire her for that. She can said to her child later that she has nothing to hide. As she said in her series "One million dollar bride" when you tell one lie you have to tell many many other lies to cover up your previous one. May she and Chilam have a happy life together.

Anita Yuen Wing Yee has always been a straight forward person. Due to her materialism, Anita admitted that she was involved with a married man on Stephen Chan's "Be My Guest" show.

yea i heard about it before, cos i remember last time they were filming a drama together then in the drama they were always supposed to be a quarrelling couple or sth like that. Anita Yuen recently was a guest at Stephen Chan's show "Be My Guest". Anita Yuen received 3 baby's clothes from a famous brand. One clothing is for a 7 months old baby, the other for a 9 months old.
Asked Anita what she did not like to talk about on the show. She replied : "Anything can be asked. Anything that made me unhappy in the past, stays the past."
She also said, during her break she has been following the series "Heart Of Greed", which made her go out less at night. "Eventhough I think the best I accomplished so far is to have a son, but when it comes to a good script, it makes people want to film.

The new mum, anita yuen, arrived yesterday in Beijing for some charity work. Although she was not as slim as she was, she admitted that she still is working hard to try and achieve the slim figure that she had last time.

According to the HK media, lenlen appeared at an opening of a shop selling baby products to promote for it.
When asked if she received any money for this, she smiled and said :" Let's talk about this later okay? But my friends occasionally recommend baby products to me!"
Lenlen admitted that ever since she became a mother, she cannot help but look out baby products(esp.clothes),whenever she's out shopping. She also said that sometimes she buys even more clothes for morton than for herself!
She then laughed and said:" I spend 5 figure sums on morton each month, which is even more than what I spend on myself, and in his room 4 out of 6 cupboards are filled with all his clothes!"

Yesterday, anita was an invited guest at the "2030 family bonding time". She exuded an aura of vibrance and energy when speaking of her 6 mth year old son, it was as if the rumors of her suffering from post-pregnancy depression were nothing but rubbish.
In her speech, she also openly told reporters that during her pregnancy, her attitude towards her family was quite bad.

Showing off his lady-killer dimples, Chilam warmly asked her, " Are you sure i can sign on the back of your shirt?" Chilam then proceeded to use a golden marker to autograph her shirt, but the marker couldn't work, so he switched to a black one, and before signing again, he said:" You won't be able to wash off the autograph if i use this marker now, haha." Chilam and Anita arrived seperately yesterday at a famous HK Hotel called "RIZE" for an interview.
Since Chilam arrived first, the reporters spoke to him first while waiting for Anita to arrive.
Chilam had just came back from Beijing after attending and winning "Most Popular Actor" award in this year's China's awards. He was in a relatively good mood.
Since that day was Mother's Day in HK, Chilam put down all his work to make time especially for Anita. Although they did not do anything special, he felt that being with his wife on this day was very important, and felt good doing that.
After becoming a father, Chilam doesn't seem to have changed much, and his killer dimples was still ever-present when he smiled and chatted warmly to reporters about his duty as a father.
When reporters asked how he communcated with his son, he paused for a while then smiled and said, " He's still so young, only 6 months old! So, i cannot really communicate with him that well yet."
Reporter:" Do you prefer a boy or a girl?"
Chilam:" Actually, both would be fine, if its a girl, i would protect her more, and if its boy, i would hope that he'll grow up to be like a man. So, when the baby is born, my only wish would be for him/her to be healthy!"

Chilam: " I hope that in every show that i act in, i will give my best in it, and hope that i can be a normal father to my son, even if in roles i play are villians or heroes."
Just then, Anita arrived.

Anita then said that she has been very lucky all through out her life, she's very lucky to have been a successful actress(she won twice the tile of best actress in HK), very lucky to have met Chilam, because they can connect very well. Unlike some other guys which are just nice to look at but once you start talking to them, you wouldn't want to continue talking anymore. She said that Chilam always gives her a fresh viewpoint. Also, being a mother is also something to be proud of, and she's very happy indeed. So, when she first heard that she was pregnant, she felt very excited.
Unlike Chilam, Lenlen is more willing to talk about their son, telling reporters that she just finished taking her son for lessons to improve mother and son relationships. She said that now, her biggest happiness comes from seeing her son. So, sometimes when she is sleeping with Chilam, she finds herself waking up for no reason and thinking that something bad happened to her son.
Reporter: " Who does your son look like? You or Chilam?"
Lenlen then took out a picture of Morton from her bag and showed it to the reporter. He is really beautiful, with big sparkly eyes, like Chilam and Lenlen's, small cute lips, like Chilam! Apparently even a star like Anita had to wait for a table at Shanghai’s Jesse Restaurant, reputedly frequented by many celebrities.
Anita was in Shanghai on 4th May to shoot a commercial and took the chance to try out the well-known Shanghainese restaurant, Jesse Restaurant. Unfortunately, it was packed when she arrived, so she had to wait in line.
Not one with lots of patience, she complained to the waiter. The waiter offered to first take her order to shorten her waiting time. However, after waiting for a while, she asked the waiter again, “Why is it not ready yet? Why is it taking so long?” Finally, she lost her temper and shouted, “How long more? Why is the service so slow? What kind of service is this?” Apparently she was really loud and even people on the street could hear her. Fortunately some guests left soon after and Anita was quickly ushered in.
(Note: No idea if this report was exaggerated. Don’t think Anita is like that now – I mean she has passed this stage. She used to be in her younger days. Anyway, we don’t know both sides of the story. Perhaps the service attitude of the restaurant’s staff was bad. Sorry no time to translate them all but she was invited to give out the Top 10 Artiste Award at the recent TVB Star Awards on 29 Mar 2007.
She said she would love to do a TVB TV serial but she was recently approached to shoot a mainland Chinese TV serials. Since it's a challenging role, she would consider moving there for a short while so she could be with her baby.
Awards after all but an award organized by a magazine for TVB stars. Sorry for the error, read too fast :P And yeah, it was attended by all the TVB stars and Anita did present them an award.

HK’s Lotus Light Organization invited Anita and former singer, Kenny B to participate in its charity expedition to Qinghai and Gansu province, China in early April. This area (north-east of China) has an acute water shortage and they’re contributing their efforts to help the villagers there build water storages.
They made use of the time in between flights to give a short press conference. Christy Chung flew in to show her support too though she couldn’t join in the expedition this time round.
Freshly discharged from his bankruptcy, Kenny B donated RMB$200,000 Yuan to help build water storage. Anita was moved to tears by the tough conditions there.
Anita said, “On my first night here, I asked them what they needed besides water. In the end, it’s still water. Since I can’t build water storage for them overnight, I could only give them 2 boxes of drinking water. As they’re very careful in their usage, these would last them for a few months. Hope this would help them out for the time being.”
Being the Ambassador for Lotus Light, this is Kenny’s second visit and he brought along his daughter this time round. (Note: From some other reports: After seeing first hand, the plight of the villagers, his daughter even donated the money she had originally intended for a computer game. Personal note: Haha! No wonder Anita wanted her son to visit a poorer country for his first holiday (when he grows up), so he would know how fortunate he is.
He said, “It wouldn’t be a one-off effort. I would certainly continue with this. I’ve also asked some of my friends to support the programme . I think we had built close to 800 water storages.”
The cost of building a water storage is a mere RMB$1,350 Yuan (Singapore $270). To a movie star, this is a small sum of money but what’s crucial is their personal participation in support of the programme.
Anita quipped, “Many people feel that artistes lead such colourful lives and it’s not possible for them to visit such places. But if we show that even we could come personally, then it shouldn’t be a problem for the others.”
Not every charity activity would be graced by movie stars and we hope that after increasing the public’s awareness through the stars’ participation, everyone would make it their personal goal to help out in charity activities.

her son, hence she's not returning to filming just yet but would concentrate on charity work at the moment as these would only take her away for a couple of days at the most. (Aw but we understand and wld support whatever decision that makes u happy )

Reading latest news of Anita, messages from other fans or even go to previous pages to re-read old postings used to be my fav. job. Anyway, glad to know some old fans still stop by this forum sometimes.
P/S: I bought Prot間e DVD but 've not watched it yet.Hope there're many scenes of Anita in this film

For those of u in Singapore or can receive Singapore broadcasts, they're showing the 26th HKFA tonite, Sun, 29th Apr (Singapore Time), on Channel U. Yes, it's the one where she made the special appearance and gave that speech

The only disadvantage is that it'll be dubbed into Mandarin..wished I could get hold of that video clip in its original Cantonese. Then, I can listen to Anita's orginal voice.

Many celebrities including Anita and Chilam, Vivian Chow and boyfriend, Ni Kuang; Eason Chan and wife Hillary Tsui etc., attended a musical on 20 April. Due to her leg injury, Bondy Chiu Hok Yee could not perform. However, she still sang a song in a wheelchair. Halfway through, she was in tears. Everyone applauded to encourage her. Anita shouted, “You sing very well!”
Bondy should be able to reprise her role in July when she makes a full recovery.

Anita and Chilam had chilli crab for dinner at Causeway Bay, HK; with Aaron Kwok, Chingmy Yau and hubby, Shum Kar Wai after attending a musical. And they all drove nice cars, making it seem like an exhibition of prestigious cars.
They left at about 2am.Aaron seems to look dejected for he didn’t respond when reporters called out at him. Perhaps it’s because he didn’t win the Best Actor Award.
The picture caption says that Chilam was being a gentleman, for holding the door open for Anita.

There's only one negative comment on Anita's appearance at HK Film Awards - her waistline...pretty naughty of the media but more praises on her choice of attire for that evening (the media raved about the sexiness of women in suits) and also her "surprise" brief speech supporting Andy Lau (which the media touted as one of the highlights of the event). Anita and Teresa Mo's comebacks on the big screen were also said to be leading the new generation of actors (Jaycee Chan, Fiona Sit, Isabella Leung) in bringing new hope to HK's film industry.
awhile she made an appearance at the HKFA & she wasn't schedulded for any performance nor was she an award presenter too. Seems like a special appearance, this one

Everyone was surprised to see Anita on stage at the 26th HK Film Awards ceremony on 15th April 2007 as she wasn’t presenting any awards nor was she performing. Instead she spoke of her experience in showbiz.
She said, “I’m an ordinary person; just someone who is a little prettier than others. (a little? Haha. She’s mighty modest isn’t she?)
“I was crowned Miss HK in 1990. I entered showbiz in 1992. I’m an artiste. In 1993 and 1994, thanks to “He’s a Woman, She’s a Man” and “C’est la vie, Mon Cherie”, I was catapulted to screen queen status. But last year, I played the role that I love most - a ‘Mother’. But I’ll never be able to play one role well, i.e., one of being a fan. For I’m not devoted enough – I wouldn’t be waiting at the airport for my idol, I don’t visit my idol on the set, I wouldn’t trail them in a car, I wouldn’t be lying at their door step, waiting to ambush them. But I would respect my idol and give them their personal space. A successful fan knows how to support their idol without giving them pressure. Likewise, a successful idol would not wish their fans to adore them blindly and disrupt their personal lives. Both parties support and encourage each other mutually.
After being cast in “Protégé”, I now have a new role – that of being Andy Lau’s fan. Andy is a human being, not a god. He has been under a lot of pressure lately. (Note: Referring to the case where Andy’sfemale fan’s father committed suicide in a bid to get Andy to speak with his daughter at length.) Andy, I’ll always support you!”

Anita was invited by Commercial Radio, 881903.com, to be a co-host on its “Share My Song” programme on 11 April. She talked about her favourite songs and life experiences.
She admitted that when she entered the Miss HK beauty pageant, she had ambitions of being a star. She felt that singing requires one to sing from the heart and even without an audience, one would be able to touch someone. However, singing is not her forte, so she prefers to listens to songs instead.
She quipped, “In acting, one can use one’s actions and eye expression to convey a character’s emotions, whereas it’s much more difficult to do so with just one’s voice.” In her student days, Alan Tam and Anita Mui were her idols. “They were stars who could really make you besotted with them. Her English name, “Anita”, was due to Anita Mui’s influence. As for new singers, she admired Yong Er (Vincy Chan) and Wei Lan (Janice M Vidal). She would willingly spend money to buy their records.
“I feel that Leslie Cheung is a perfectionist, yet he’s so easy-going. Usually, people with high standards can be very cold. But if he likes you, he’ll talk just about anything under the sun with you. It’s hard to imagine that the glamorous stage persona you see is the same Leslie that works with you. He’s friendly and dresses casually. I find that he manages everything well in life and when you look at him, you see what life really is.”
The song, “Zhui” (that song where Leslie performs on the piano with her in “He’s a Woman, She’s a Man”. Great song, I love it ) makes Anita reminisces about the good times they had together when working in that movie. When Leslie first receives that song, he shared with her too.
Anita also shared with listeners how she once bumped into her idol, Danny Chan Bak Keong at the subway when she was a high school kid. (haha, this is cute!) It was almost like she was in a dream. (Yeah! I know! Now whenever I reminisces about my meeting with Anita, I still feel it’s really surreal!) She especially remembered his warmth. When she was a newbie in the showbiz, he once told her, “There’s a long way to go in showbiz. You must know how to take this path.” She said she would never forget what he said. He was truly an exemplary veteran. She then shared with listeners her favourite Danny Chan song.
